Life design funding platform Wadizannounced on the 14th that it has revealed the final Top 100 winners of the Wadiz Awards’ “Maker of the Year” category, recognizing the trendsetters Wadizover the past year.
The Wadiz Awards, which have been held since 2017, are an official year-end awards ceremony that recognizes projects that have garnered significant support and trust throughout the year.
The "Wadiz Awards 2023" held a special campaign from December 22 to January 7 to select nominees for "Maker of the Year," ultimately selecting the top 100 teams that generated the highest sales and received strong support from backers.
This year’s winners will receive a special awards badge symbolizing the fruits of their challenges and a sense of pride, which will be revealed on their profiles starting February 13. Makers selected for the final Top 100 will be granted the opportunity to participate in the “Super Love Maker” campaign—which offers the most extensive marketing benefits in the event’s history—as well as the chance to purchase the Wadiz Awards emblem and trophy for use both online and offline.
In the special exhibition to determine the final Top 100, products that resolve everyday inconveniences or improve quality of life through new and innovative technologies received high scores. Notable examples include △ the “Photo Cube,” which automatically backs up photos the moment they are inserted; △ “Treatment,” a product that eliminates the need for washing; and △ the “Smart Trash Can,” which offers convenient waste management. By category, “Tech & Home Appliances” and “Fashion” tied for first place with 20% each, followed by “Beauty” at 19%.
