Funding store platform Wadizhas announced that it has been selected as one of the 2024 Best Companies for Work-Life Balance in Korea.
The Korea Work-Life Balance Excellence Award was launched this year by the Ministry of Employment and Labor to recognize exemplary companies based on quantitative and qualitative indicators such as flexible work arrangements and work-childcare arrangements.
Wadizwas recognized for supporting its employees' work-life balance through a variety of initiatives, including the introduction of flexible work arrangements, encouraging active vacation use, and continuous improvement of work practices and culture. This award is significant as it recognizes the company's efforts to increase employee satisfaction and work efficiency.
In particular, Wadizhas introduced 'optional working hours', allowing employees to flexibly adjust their commute times to suit their personal lives. Wadiz also goes above and beyond the legal requirements by offering refresher vacations to longtime employees.
We also have a culture that fosters strong communication between employees. The company holds monthly company-wide town hall meetings called Impact Forums, quarterly 1:1s, and organizational engagement surveys to hear and act on employee feedback and evolve its culture.
