[Wassoso] Little updates Wadiz, brought to you by our PR manager, Hong Jin-guk. We’ll introduce Wadiz life and fun culture of the Jin-guks.
Hello, this is Hong Jin-guk from the PR team, bringing you the fourth edition ofWadizLittle Updates.” Today, I’d like to share the story of the “Autumn Memories” fall outing—the first successful team outing for the Jin-guk team in three years.

If I were to include everything, it would be a long post, so I’m only attaching a portion of it.
Let's go make some autumn memories!
Just as the aroma of roasted chestnuts began to waft through the streets, theWadizteam left their Pangyo office and headed to Gwacheon to enjoy the autumn foliage.
“Back before we started wearing masks, we used to go on field trips to Seoul Grand Park together~”
The legendary fall outing—which we’d only ever heard about—has finally returned after a long hiatus! This outing, in which all Jeonsa employees participated, was organized into four different themes: an art museum, Seoul Land, a zoo, and a themed garden. Our Jeonsa employees chose their themes based on their personal preferences, which allowed them to team up with like-minded colleagues and enjoy a wonderful outing together.
Before we really got started on our group outing, everyone gathered at the entrance to Seoul Grand Park—all dressed according to the dress code we’d agreed on during our pre-trip meeting. It was a lot of fun seeing everyone’s creative outfits, from animal headbands and sunglasses to striped shirts 😆

Team 6 at the zoo is dressed in Wadiz signature mint-colored masks! Their signature pose is the number 6. Hehe

Even while riding the KTX, the dress code is all about rainbows. We're Group 3 at Seoul Land 🌈
We all went out together for the first time in a while—what would be a real shame to miss? A group photo, of course! Even though there were nearly 400 of us, we were able to take the photo quickly thanks to everyone’s cooperation.

After taking plenty of photos at the entrance of the photo spot, we split into groups and headed to our respective themed locations. Even Mount Kumgang is best enjoyed after a meal, right? (You can’t play if you’re hungry!) When we arrived at our theme locations via the elephant train and the lift, the staff—the “true gems” in their blue hats—welcomed us with packed lunches. Thanks to them, we were able to enjoy a lively field trip with full bellies.

What comes to mind when you think of a picnic? Gimbap!
Now the real field trip begins!
Two Ways to Enjoy Art: The National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art
The museum’s Jin-gu kids were given crayons and drawing paper. This was for the “1st Wadiz Sketch Contest,” a themed event. The theme was “Give Jin-gu the new F/W collection!” After lunch, the Jin-gu kids gathered in small groups and began drawing.

They look just like an art teacher and her students 😁
A gallery walk featuring the 13 works collected in this way took place in front of the museum.

Along with the gallery walk, a vote was held to select the top three entries. Following that, an additional vote was conducted in the server-wide chat to choose the winner. The winner was granted the honor of seeing the character Jin-gook actually wearing the new F/W collection. We are now revealing the winning entry, which received a total of 80 votes, and that glorious moment!

Here’s Jin-gook wearing a popular outerwear piece Wadiz! There’s no doubt that Team M06 has a producer and a designer on board.

After the art competition, we had some free time in our groups. We spent the time bonding with our group members, whether tracing the history of modern art inside the museum or enjoying the harmony between the museum and nature outside.

Calling all adventure seekers: Come to Seoul Land!
Shouts of “I lost!” and “I won!” echoed through the entrance to Seoul Land. This was because the themed event “Beat Jin-gook: Staff vs. Our Team! The Rebellious Rock-Paper-Scissors” was underway. "Cheonggaeguri Rock-Paper-Scissors" is a game where four members of a team take turns playing rock-paper-scissors against staff member Jinguk. If you lose, you shout "We won!"; if you win, you shout "We lost!" to advance. If it’s a tie, since we’re Cheonggaeguri, we shout "Ribbit!"

Churros: Should I pay for them myself or have someone else treat me? That’s the nail-biting moment when it’s decided (Full focus)
Activity funds were waiting for the teams that successfully completed the "Rebellious Frog" Rock-Paper-Scissors mission. With their wallets now well-stocked, the Seoul Land members headed into the park, their hearts full of excitement.
I, Hong Jin-guk, also went on a field trip to Seoul Land, and whenever I met members of other teams, I asked them what rides they went on and what they ate. Some groups focused entirely on the most popular roller coasters; others spread out a blanket right at the entrance to enjoy a picnic; some rode many of the less popular rides; and others used their allowance to buy food—everyone had their own way of enjoying the amusement park. So, without further ado, let’s take a look at the photos 😉

Animals and Visitors as One: Seoul Zoo
Animal lovers gathered at the Seoul Zoo. As they strolled around meeting various animals, it was soon time for the themed event. The zoo-themed event was a group photo session with their animal friends to create lasting memories.
Other themes include drawing contests and games, but a group photo? Isn’t that a bit too ordinary? NO! The theme is called “Follow My Lead Like This”—do you get the idea? There’s a hidden animal (mission) in the zoo’s group photo. It’s actually hidden in the Jinguk members’ gestures. Let’s find the hidden animal together. (Hint: headbands!)

It probably wasn’t easy to act out the animals, but these kids really gave it their all, twisting their bodies this way and that and raising their arms. Thanks to them, we had a really fun time with the group!
A Walk, a Rest, a Chat… The Three Elements of Healing: Themed Gardens & Walking Trails
Don’t you feel the soothing energy just from the names “Walking Trail” and “Garden”? Escaping the office—with its clatter of keyboards and hurried footsteps—where everyone breathes rapidly, the Junggu employees enjoyed a moment of relaxation in the themed garden, filled with laughter and the sounds of nature.
In keeping with the theme of “healing,” the event at the themed garden was “Four Shots of Life,” where we took Polaroid photos with our group members. The instant photos, taken in the unique poses suggested by the staff, added a touch of “mood” to our outing.

Capture your autumn memories!
In addition to the themed events, there was a general event open to all Jinguk fans. If you found the "Autumn Memories" sign and took a photo with your group striking your signature pose, you could receive a gift and a raffle ticket. The gift was a Jinguk character magnet dressed in autumn attire!
It would be a real shame if I were the only one missing the prize drawing later on. The server chat was buzzing all day with photos from teams who had captured their autumn memories.

Let's have fun and eat well! Wrapping up the picnic
After enjoying their respective outings, the Jin-gu members all headed to the dinner venue. It was the perfect evening, with warm company and delicious food to soothe their weary bodies.

After the meal, it was time for the prize drawing. From the Jinro dispenser—which sold out in just two hours on Wadiz —to café coffee vouchers and even a meal with the CEO, a variety of prizes found their way to the lucky employees who have been working hard in their respective roles.
The annual fall outing, which returned after a three-year hiatus, came to a satisfying conclusion, leaving everyone feeling refreshed in both body and spirit 👏

Jin-gook is eagerly picking out his lottery ticket, wondering which lucky one will be chosen in a moment!
While every member of the Jin-guk family was a star on this outing, if I had to pick one team in particular, I think it would be the “People Team”—the Jin-guks in blue hats. I’m sure everyone who joined the outing would wholeheartedly agree. With heartfelt thanks to all the Jin-guks and the People Team for creating such wonderful memories together, Hong Jin-guk will now take his leave! (Our autumn foliage finale was perfect 🍁)

Thank you, People Team 💙
