The Runners' Challenge, and the Members Supporting Them
The star of this photo exhibition is the project running team "Jeongjik(@honest.movement). From February to March, over the course of about a month, Jeongjik used Wadiz team funding service “Let’s” to “Haeparang Project 750” challengefor about a month, from February to March.
Wadiz Team’s Funding Service ‘Let’s’
It’s a crowdfunding service that makes it easy for anyone to launch a campaign. You can launch a project in just three minutes, and you can support any campaign with as much funding as you’d like. 100% of the funds raised go directly to the project leader (the person launching the campaign).
The “Haeparang Project 750” is a challenge in which nine runners from Team Jeongjik ran the “Haeparang Trail”—South Korea’s longest trail—day and night without rest. Through the Let’s Project, they raised 1.42 million won in donations and received an outpouring of support. Thanks to this, their race—which began on March 1st to mark Korea’s Independence Movement Day—was successfully completed on March 4th, after approximately four days.

A new challenge born from a challenge
*Last February,Wadizpreviewed its team funding service, Letz, and held a pre-launch event. Projects launched during the pre-launch period were offered promotional support and the opportunity to be selected as outstanding projects.

The Jeongjik Team, selected as the Best Project

Meet the Leaders of the “Haeparang Project 750”
We met Son Ji-eun, the funding lead at Let's Team, to hear more about the story behind "The Challenge of Integrity."
"The 'Haeparang Project 750' is Jeongjik's second running project. Is there a particular reason why you chose to raise funds through team crowdfunding this time, unlike the first project?"
🏃♀️ Wadiz Let's is a service that connects people who empathize with challenges so they can cheer each other on and offer support. That philosophy aligns perfectly with our commitment to makingrunning a cultural phenomenon. After all, culture is ultimately created through empathy and connection.
I wanted to introduce running culture by launching the “Haeparang Project 750” on Let’s. Another reason I chose Let’s was that it allows me to create projects quickly and easily on my mobile device.
Do you think you made the right choice with Let's?
🏃♀️ Let's served as an opportunity to promote our project as a team-funded initiative and, furthermore, to introduce it to the public through the media. Thanks to that, we also received a lot of interest and support from other runners.
During the course of the project News1contacted us for a story, and an article was published. While marathon races are great, Let’s is a team of people who want to run in a more fun way and take on challenges on paths others haven’t ventured down. It’s amazing that what started as a hobby in search of fun has become known as the Let’s Project and been featured in the media. Since this was a first-time experience for all of us, Let’s holds great significance for us.
What do you think was the secret behind receiving so much support and being selected as the Best Project?
🏃♀️ I think many runners in Korea were longing for a new running culture. What’s more, I believe that the daunting challenge of running 750 km sparked a great deal of support and resonance.
From photo exhibitions to running sessions—it must have been a new challenge for Jung-jik.
🏃♀️ When I first launched the Let's Project, I hadn't even thought about putting on an exhibition. While working on Team Jeongjik’s first running project, “TSP (The Speed Project, LA to LV 550km),” and our second running project, “Haeparang Project 750,” we took a lot of photos and videos. So when I heard we had the opportunity to hold an exhibition, the thought immediately popped into my head: “We have to do a photo exhibition!” We designed the exhibition so that visitors could experience Team Jeongjik’s challenges, even if only indirectly.

The running session was a refreshing change of pace. We’d always run just among the Jeongjik team members, but it was a whole new experience to run alongside visitors WadizSpace Wadiz. It was especially meaningful since it was the first running session we hosted under the Jeongjik team name, and it was a delightful experience that helped us realize another dimension of Space Wadizpotential.

The Challenge Event is now underway
Wadizis preparing events with various benefits to encourage more people to take on new challenges.
Just like Jeongjik’s “Haeparang Trail Project 750,” we hope that anyone can take on a challenge, connect with supporters, and continue their journey in a new way. . Who will be the next ‘Jeongjik’?
The important thing is that it could be you, reading this right now. If you’re thinking “Should I give it a try?”in your heart!
