Spring is here! The weather is warming up, but even ramen... With prices rising steadily, my heart is growing colder by the day. Here’s some news to warm your heart.

All proceeds from the flea market will be donated!

December 2022 Wadiz Year-End PartyA flea market was held. With no details decided—not what items would be sold or how much money would be raised—one thing was clear: All proceeds will be donated!

Thanks to donations of IT equipment from the General Affairs Team and items donated by our employees, approximately 75 items found new homes. These items, which had been sitting unused, are now being put to good use again. Through this effort, we raised approximately 10 million won.

Flea Market to Raise Funds for Heating Costs

To whom, and how should it be delivered I spent a lot of time wondering I spent a lot of time pondering this. After all, our mission and vision is to ensure that funds reach those who need them most, thereby creating a world where people can grow and take on new challenges.

Meeting Neighbors to Share Life With

That’s how we decided to partner with the World Vision Seongnam Comprehensive Social Welfare Center. Wadizis a resident of Seongnam. After all, neighbors should help and support one another. We decided to lend our support as neighbors to the Seongnam Comprehensive Social Welfare Center, which is making great efforts to foster mutual growth with the community.

As it happens, World Vision is an NGO that partnered Wadizin August 2022 to spread social impact—could this be fate…?

For a warm world where everyone can dream

Of all the recent price hikes, I think the one that hits closest to home is probably “heating bills.” With my heating bill this winter having nearly doubled, I’ve even started a “layering challenge.” It’s said that rising energy costs are particularly devastating for low-income households.

You might have to cut back on food to cover the rising heating bills. You might not be able to bathe as often to conserve hot water. Home is supposed to be a cozy and welcoming place, but in the freezing cold—where you can’t even tell if you’re inside or outside—health problems may arise. In such an environment, dreams and new challenges feel like a distant fantasy.

World Vision is providing heating cost assistance to low-income households facing energy poverty,, and Wadizhas decided to use the proceeds from the flea market for this meaningful cause.

Households that donated their heating bills

May the families receiving these donations feel a little more warmth

We hope the 10 million won we’ve raised will help create a world wherechildren can dream and take on new challengeswithout worry.
We aim to keep a child’s home warm—a child who is prone to respiratory illnesses due to weak bronchial tubes. We will also help ease the burden of heating costs for a family of three siblings who rely on government subsidies to make ends meet.

We’re spreading warmth to help 50 families in need—including these two—get through the last of the cold weather safely 💖
