[People Who Judge with Sincerity] The Wondrous and Beautiful World of Crowdfunding
TheWadiz Service Operations Team takes a close look at the projects they’ve encountered.

Wadizis a treasure trove of stories

You’ve probably heard this before. In Wadiz project stories, the story the brand wants to share. It’s the maker’s authentic story—why they decided to create this product, and the process and effort that went into making it. Conveying information about the brand and product, along with their strengths, in an authentic way is the key to a successful Wadiz project.

An incredible platform where even brands that struggled with the basics of storytelling become masters of storytelling once their project goes live. How is this possible?

Here is my feedback on the story

The Service Operations Team is the first team makers encounter when they come Wadiz. We evaluate whether makers and their projects are eligible to be featured Wadiz. We also review the project stories to ensure that product descriptions are thorough and that no essential information is missing.

Email Notifying You That the Review Has Begun

Once you submit your project, you’ll meet with a representative. This representative is a reviewer from the Service Operations Team!

Among the various tasks handled by the Service Operations Team, ‘Story (Content) Feedback. We review the stories with a focus on whether supporters can obtain sufficient information during the funding and pre-order process.

Story Feedback: Why Is It Necessary? Stories that lack essential content or polish have a lower chance of success because they struggle to capture supporters’ interest . While Wadizmany veteran creators, there are also plenty of new creators launching their first projects. Most of them feel overwhelmed, unsure of what to write—even setting aside advertising and story concepts—and don’t know where to start with the basic content. The Service Operations Team is here to help you find a way through that confusion.

My name is Billy

I’m holding food in both hands. I mainly judge food projects, and this character, Billy, is my alter ego as a judge. So, let me give you a quick example of how I provide story feedback using a food project I know best.

Creating a Story That Builds Trust

When we first review a project’s story and find that the content is a bit lacking, we provide feedback suggesting that you add some additional information. At that time, we also send you the image card shown below. The absence of this information does not prevent you from launching your project as a funding or pre-order campaign Wadiz. However, we recommend adding this information to help create a more compelling story and build trust between the maker and the supporters.

Story Feedback

*Since nutritional information must be provided by law for certain products, it will be difficult to proceed with your project Wadizif this information is not included.

One more thing. During the sweltering summer months like these, one piece of information that backers are particularly curious about is “packaging.” Whether the product will arrive in good condition and how fresh it will be are key factors in deciding whether to back a project. Therefore, if there is no information provided on how the product will be shipped, we recommend including this detail to encourage backers to support the project.

Story Feedback

Create a story that sparks curiosity about the rewards

In addition to basic information about the product, we also provide feedback on the story behind it to help highlight the product and the maker's vision.

I don’t think anyone would deny that “taste” is the most important aspect of food. Without photos or descriptions of delicious-looking products, a food story can feel rather bland. Easy-to-follow recipes, firsthand tasting reviews, and detailed descriptions of flavors and aromas are sure to pique supporters’ interest. We also receive feedback asking us to include versatile recipes in our stories.

Creating a Solid Story That Incorporates Reward Elements

Even within a single category like “food,” there is a wide variety of products, including fresh foods, health supplements, and processed foods. Depending on the type of product, there are specific details that should be included—such as expiration dates, storage instructions, and precautions for consumption. Information that demonstrates this kind of thoughtful consideration strengthens the narrative and makes the project more trustworthy. When providing feedback on the story, the Service Operations Team takes these product and brand characteristics into account.

Above all, what matters most is the maker’s ‘genuine commitment’

The Service Operations Team reviews stories while considering what kind of information a supporter might be most curious about. We also observe how other project stories have highlighted their products.

Above all else, what we value most in our stories is the maker’s sincerity. Even if we include various product details and usage tips in our stories, it’s ultimately the maker’s sincerity that drives supporters to engage.

To ensure that products—even those that seem familiar—convey the unique story of their creators rather than just a generic narrative, our service operations team carefully reviews each one with genuine care.
