Wadizhas a Trust and Safety Team.
There have been instances where people mistakenly referred to the Trust and Safety Team as the “Indoor Safety Team.” I suppose this happens because the name “Trust and Safety Team” isn’t something people see or encounter very often. Within a corporate organization, there are various teams, and you can usually guess their roles and responsibilities from their names, such as the “Audit Team,” “Customer Service Team,” or “Legal Team.” However, it’s not easy to guess what the “Trust and Safety Team” does just from its name alone.
Wadizestablished the “Trust & Safety Team” to build and protect a secure funding ecosystem that users can trust. Although we have long been committed to upholding the values of trust and safety, we realized that there is still room for improvement. To demonstrate just how serious Wadizare about this, we would like to introduce the purpose and work of the Trust & Safety Team.
(Excerpted from an actual inquiry)
It's the Trust Safety Team, not the Indoor Safety Team.😀
“What does the Trust and Safety Team do?”
For example, a product is advertised as Wadizexclusive, raising expectations, but is actually being sold on other sites; or a product is sold that was created by plagiarizing someone else’s idea; or there is a significant discrepancy between the advertised product and the item actually delivered; or the funds raised were advertised as being used for public benefit, but the actual use of the funds is unclear.
Ifviolations of our operating policies and terms of service disrupt and threaten ahealthy funding ecosystem, users will avoid or grow to dislike using our service. Ultimately, a satisfying service experience stems from a trustworthy and secure environment. That is why we believe one of Wadizmost important obligations is to safeguard user trust and safety. We named our team the “Trust & Safety Team,” combining the two words “trust” and “safety,” which represent both our duty and our core values. Here, the term “users” encompasses not only our supporters but also our makers. We believe it is the Trust & Safety Team’s responsibility to create a fair and transparent funding environment where supporters can fund projects with peace of mind and makers can operate their projects with confidence.
The Trust and Safety Team takes action and provides guidance in accordance with Wadiz operating policies and Terms of Service whenever issues arise that violate or deviate from them. Additionally, the team develops measures to prevent recurrence by applying insightsgained during the resolution process and proactively manages potential issues through monitoring. Ultimately, the team ensures that Wadiz funding operations are conducted fairly and transparently in accordance with these policies and Terms of Service.
“What kind of culture is the Trust and Safety Team striving to create Wadiz?”
So, what kind of Wadizdo the members of the Trust and Safety Team strive to create in their work? While each person’s work style and methods differ, they all shared a common aspiration.
I hope this post clearly conveys the responsibilities and role of the Trust and Safety Team, and I’ll share more details about what we actually do in the next post🤗
