Life design funding platform Wadizannounced on the 1st that a startup selected Wadizits subsidiary, Wadiz, has successfully secured funding through the Ministry of SMEs and Startups’ Private Investment-Linked Matching Loan Program (LIPS).

Wadizis one of the organizations overseeing the “Private Investment-Linked Matching Loan” program, jointly run Wadiz. Through this initiative,Wadiz operates theWadiz Next Brand” program, which proactively identifies promising startups and SMEs and helps them scale up by leveraging Wadizinfrastructure, including investment and loan support.

Wadizis actively facilitating “private investment-linked matching loans” to help startups selected asWadiz Next Brands” secure production and marketing funds for scaling up. The organic beauty brand “Power Player” and the IP merchandise specialist “Luka Lab Company” have been the first to receive these policy-funded matching loans.

The “Private Investment-Linked Matching Loan” is a new initiative launched in 2023 by the Small Business and Market Service. Under this program, when an organization designated by the Service makes an initial investment in an entrepreneurial small business owner with growth potential, the Service subsequently provides policy funding in the form of a matching loan to nurture the business into a “Ricon” enterprise. Loans are granted based solely on the growth potential recognized through the investment, regardless of the entrepreneur’s creditworthiness.
