Wadizis teaming up with MCN company Treasure Hunter to accelerate the expansion of a creator-centric commerce ecosystem.
Life Design funding platform Wadizannounced on the 30th that Wadizhas signed a strategic business agreement with Treasure Hunter regarding “creator funding and commerce operations.” Treasure Hunter is a first-generation MCN company in Korea that discovers and supports creators, with approximately 700 well-known domestic and international influencers and YouTubers currently under its umbrella.
This agreement was established to foster mutual cooperation in promoting influencer group buying through Wadizand advancing creator funding and e-commerce initiatives. The plan is to establish a collaborative framework between Wadizfunding and commerce services and Treasure Hunter’s creators, with full-scale operations set to begin in June. Specifically, the two companies plan to collaborate in various areas, including: △matchingWadiz with products onWadiz and facilitating group buying; △developing new products and launching funding campaigns through collaborations betweenWadiz brands listed onWadiz; and △building a commerce business model for creators.
Wadizcan suggest products from the Wadiz Store that align with a creator’s niche to facilitate group buying, or it can foster collaborations between creators and brands listed on the Store to develop products and launch them for the first time through Wadiz funding. For example, this could involve suggesting camping gear to a camping-focused YouTuber and organizing a group purchase targeting their followers, Wadiz supporters, and other general customers. Through this approach, Wadizcan benefit from promotional exposure via influencers with strong fan bases, while creators can explore joint sales initiatives Wadiz, such as releasing limited-edition versions of products that have successfully completed funding campaigns.
Wadizalso supports creators in product development. By connecting creators with manufacturers capable of bringing their ideas to life—such as launching products for the first time through Wadiz funding—the company plans to create a collaborative structure among creators,Wadiz to generate synergy. A Wadiz representative stated, “We look forward to the synergy resulting from our strategic partnership with Treasure Hunter, a leading company in the MCN industry,” adding, “We will introduce Wadizdiverse range of innovative products to a wider audience through the content of popular creators.”
