Wadizhas a wide range of resources. We have a team dedicated to managing these resources efficiently and identifying the most critical ones to maximize sales and service performance.

We met with the Business Planning and Management Team, which is responsible for running Wadiz ’s business!

Please introduce yourself and your team!

Shin Hyun-cheol: Hello, I’m the Director of the Business Planning Team and I lead the team. If I had to sum up the Business Planning Team in one sentence,it would be:“We efficiently manage the company’s core resources.”The team is divided into sub-teams and sections based on three major core resources.

Planning customer resources to encourage makers to use Wadizmore frequently Business Planning Team, and Business Management Team, and the Promotion Planning Division.

Park Joo-myung: Hello, I work in the Business Planning Team, where I’m responsible for defining and efficiently allocating company-wide resources to help increase revenue.

Jang Se-jin: Hello, I’m in charge of business management on the Business Management Team.Wadizis the plural form of “wadi,” which means “let’s create many streams in the desert-like capital market.” My job is to help ensure that these “many” streams flow deeper and wider.

We work to ensure that makers collaborating with our Sales (PD) Team can secure better opportunities Wadizby analyzing sales environment data to optimize and improve the sales environment. We also manage the sales team’s pipeline and key metrics. Just as sales is essential to the company, the Business Management Team is equally indispensable!

How did you come to join Wadiz?

Shin Hyun-cheol: I wanted to grow by taking on the challenge of a new type of business and role. Jin-guk of Wadiz —known as “Jin-guk the Real Deal”—offered me a great opportunity. My vision is to use sound values to have a positive impact on business. I deeply resonated withWadizvision, which is why I decided to join.
*Jinguk: A term referring to Wadizoutstanding Wadizwho embodies authenticity

Park Joo-myung: I was drawn to the meaning and identity behind the name Wadiz.” When heavy rain falls on a waterless desert, it creates a massive stream and forms a river; “wadi” refers to that river.Wadizembodies our aspiration to become a mighty river flowing through the parched capital market, using crowdfunding as our medium. As a member of the industry ecosystem, I felt it would be a great joy to be able to serve as a source of water for others.

Jang Se-jin: I first learned Wadizthrough a crowdfunding project. I was curious about a product I really needed, so I participated in Wadiz, and I had a great experience interacting with the maker I met during that process. It made me think, “If Wadizcan provide such great opportunities to such wonderful makers, what a fantastic place it must be!” That’s why I decided to join Wadiz. The atmosphere Wadizduring my interview was so warm! It made me want to join Wadizeven more.

A new Business Planning Team was recently established.
What are the team’s goals and the challenges they aim to address?

Shin Hyun-cheol:The goals and tasks of the Business Planning Team can be broadly divided into three categories. First, we aim to help top makers launch more projects and be active Wadiz. Second, we work to increase the productivity of the Sales (PD) Team. Finally, we meticulously plan a variety of promotions tailored to the needs of our supporters.

Wadiz Business Planning Team

Is there anything unique about Wadiz?

Shin Hyun-cheol: In most companies, tasks are broken down into categories such as strategic planning, business planning, operational planning, sales planning, and marketing planning. In our Business Planning Team, we get to experience. What makes this role special is that it broadens your perspective and allows you to see the big picture in planning work.

Park Joo-myung: The Wadiz Business Planning Team goes beyond streamlining operational processes the efficient allocation of company-wide resources. This allows me to gain experience with a wide range of company-wide initiatives. I feel a great sense of accomplishment when I see that the plans I develop immediately lead to increased sales and improved efficiency.

What is our team’s unique culture and work style?

Park Joo-myung: " The Business Planning Team has the advantage that everyone—from team members to leaders—can freely express their opinions and communicate with one another. Thanks to this, even as a team member, I’ve been given the opportunity to take on company-wide planning projects. This also allows me to feel a greater sense of accomplishment when we achieve results."

Jang Se-jin: "The Business Management Teamfosters a work environment where, just like in Jin-gook’s Work Method #3, you can ask questions anytime you encounter difficulties or have uncertainties. In the process, we support each other’s needs and work both independently and collaboratively. Of course, there’s also room for personal growth. It’s a team that’s as fresh and vibrant as a sprout, yet as solid as fertile soil."

What are the most important skills or experiences required to work in the Business Planning Team?

Shin Hyun-cheol: Experience and capabilities in delivering results through projects are key. Whenever our team identifies an area within the company where resource productivity is an issue or where management needs to be more efficient, we immediately launch a project to develop a strategy. We execute quickly to deliver results.

Park Joo-myung:The Business Planning Team plays a crucial role in efficiently allocating the company’s resources. Since we deal with a wide range of resources—including sales, marketing, and advertising—it’s essential to be unafraid of tackling new tasks across various fields . Communication skills are also crucial, as you’ll frequently collaborate with other departments to ensure the organic allocation of resources. You’ll need to manage allocated resources while balancing sales contributions and interdepartmental equity. If you’re comfortable with data-driven decision-making, you’ll be able to adapt quickly.

Jang Se-jin:The Business Management Team analyzes sales KPIs and data to develop execution strategies for the sales organization’s short-term goals and to map out a mid- to long-term roadmap. Since sales managers are responsible for monitoring, processing, and analyzing vast amounts of data, they must have a comprehensive understanding of the entire Wadiz service. Beyond mere monitoring, they must derive insights from their analysis and act on them immediately. Given the abundance of fresh and innovative products Wadiz, there is a constant need to improve the sales environment at a rapid pace and align closely with the Sales (PD) Team.

Do you have any personal beliefs or principles that you always try to follow at work?

Shin Hyun-cheol: “Here & Now, Be Myself.” I focus on my strengths in my work and strive to demonstrate leadership. When it comes to teamwork, I believe it’s important for each team member to focus on their own strengths. I believe that being true to oneself is the most important factor in personal happiness, and it’s the way for both individuals and teams to achieve and sustain peak performance.

Park Joo-myung: I work with the belief that “I must first convince myself.” When working on planning tasks, I’m often pressed for time, and there are so many things that need to be handled urgently. In those moments, I’d suddenly realize that I was drafting proposals with the sole purpose of getting the work done. Even I, the one doing the planning, wasn’t convinced by them. Those kinds of proposals usually don’t succeed. That’s why, no matter what I’m planning, I make a conscious effort to first convince myself using data and case studies.

Jang Se-jin: I place great importance on Principle 4 of WadizFive Principles: “We leave positive memories with our partners and customers.”This is because the Business Management Team is dedicated to ensuring that more makers have positive experiences and can secure more and better opportunities Wadiz. I also keepthe second principle , “We lead the way while embracing the rapid changes,” and the third principle, “We support each other’s needs,” firmly in mind as I work.

What kind of new colleagues would you like to work with in the future?

Shin Hyun-cheol: I’d love to work with people who enjoy constantly trying new things, learning from feedback, and growing; who know how to flexibly balance “fun and purpose” depending on the situation; and who clearly understand their strengths and are dedicated to contributing to the team.

Pro Park Joo-myung: Anyone who enjoys challenges and achievements is welcome 🙌 “You’re my do-do-do…”

Jang Se-jin: I want to work with people who are truly dedicated—people with a clear reason for wanting to workWadiz. I want to work with people who give their all to achieve their goals and grow alongside their work!
