Find Wadiz #465!

May 17, 2023 | Wasoso, Team Wadiz

[Wassoso] Little updates Wadiz, brought to you by our PR manager, Hong Jin-guk. We’ll introduce Wadiz life and fun culture of the Jin-guks.

Our usually peaceful Pangyo office… but that day, I felt a chill run down my spine. The sound of people’s screams (?) slowly drawing nearer. The moment I turned my head!

Lunch Guerrilla Event: Wajinger Game

Lunch King, Wadiz Street Woman Fighter (WOWPA), Lunch Eventis back with a bang. This time, it’s actually an in-person event. Let’s all enjoy Wajinger Game 🦑

It’s a game where the last person standing is determined through a true-or-false quiz based entirely on luck, rather than current events or general knowledge. This is a move Wadizorganizational mission: “Creating a world where anyone can take on a challenge.”

The last person standing will receive 500,000 funding points, and if any team members of that person’s team are present at the venue, the team will receive meal vouchers for each of those members. There was also a random lucky draw (awarding 30,000 reward points) and a surprise performance by two special guests.  Company Event: The Wajinger Game

There's only one rule: survive to the end.

Amid a crowd of participants vying for 500,000 funding points, the Wajinger Game kicked off with a host whose charisma rivaled that of Nemo Agent’s frontman.  Company Event: The Wajinger Game

Wadizin the game looked at the questions presented, stood in the O or X zone they believed to be the correct answer, and waited to see what fate had in store for them.

That true-or-false quiz was almost as hard as picking the winning lottery numbers. Believe it or not, one of the practice questions was, “More than 1,000 ice cubes were used in the iced Americano served at Hisbeans (the company café) this morning.” (Take it or leave it, but the café manager counted them himself and found there weren’t even 1,000.)

Amid the steady stream of contestants being eliminated, a celebratory performance by special guests followed to lighten the mood. It was the moment when the hidden singing talent of the agent, who had been standing solemnly, was revealed. Company Event: The Wajinger Game

Agent Semo’s sultry dance that followed set the intense atmosphere of the Wajinger Game arena ablaze.

The moment ‘Ki-hoon Hyung’ was born on Wadiz!

As *Squid Game* was racing toward its conclusion, a problem arose that created a one-against-many situation.

"Korean dolphins and American dolphins can understand each other."

As the confident footsteps made their way toward O, there were two players who stood firm, steadfastly guarding X. 3, 2, 1… And then, in that split second! Thanks to one player switching sides from X to O, a dramatic moment arrived: would the Wajing Game end right then, or would it continue?

Contrary to everyone’s expectations, Korean dolphins and American dolphins can’t understand each other!
The winner of 500,000 funding points has been announced! 🎉 True to his role on the Advertising Review Team, where he works hard to ensure accurate reward information is provided, he demonstrated exceptional judgment by selecting the correct answer.

Congratulations!

Wadiz before COVID-19, when we used to gather together and share plenty of laughter. It was a rare opportunity to enjoy each other’s company in person, rather than via video call. We had a blast and laughed our hearts out thanks to unexpected surprises like prizes and a surprise performance!

We’re excited to see what our next lunch event will be, so here’s a sneak peek at one of the quizzes we’ve prepared. Give it a try!

The snack that was consumed the fastest at the Impact Center snack bar on the 6th floor is Orion Whiteheim. (Hint: Anyone can take on the challenge, even if you’re not a Wadiz employee!)

Curious about the answer? Drag (On mobile, copy the text and paste it into Notepad!) 👉 X, Whiteheim is a snack made by Crown Confectionery.
