A team dedicated to developing optimal advertising services using a variety of advertising products
A team that connects supporters and makers through advertising based on theWadiz Identity
Today, too Wadiz Advertising Team that Effectively Connects. We met with them!
Hello, could you please introduce yourself?
Seong Eun-sil: Hello. I’m Seong Eun-sil, and I’m in charge of advertising and partnerships Wadiz.
I’ve beenWadizfor about a year and a half. Before that, I worked on launching and expanding advertising businesses at portal and e-commerce companies.
Amid the fast-paced environment Wadiz, I’m creating new advertising products, launching an advertising platform, and enjoying collaborative work with various teams! As a result, our advertising business is growing, and even I—who used to wonder, “Is there any room left for growth?”—am continuing to grow by leaps and bounds. 🙂
Lee Yuna: Hello. I’m Lee Yuna, a manager on the Advertising Business Team.
It’s already been two and a half years since I joined Wadizin December 2020. It feels like just yesterday that I joined the Advertising Business Team in its early days, relying on each other with fewer than five team members to navigate all sorts of challenges. Before I knew it, the team has nearly doubled in size, and we’ve expanded our portfolio of advertising products and business areas.
Looking back, I’ve really grown a lot alongside the advertising services here at Wadiz! 🙂
Please tell us about your current role and team!
Seong Eun-sil, Producer: Advertising acts as a bridge connecting makers and supporters. It exposes the rewards and stories prepared by makers to a wide range of supporters. The Advertising Business Team works to build that bridge so that more makers and supporters can connect. We develop new advertising products, operate a platform for running ads, and conduct tasks such as analyzing advertising effectiveness and case studies.
Our work is diverse and constantly evolving, and the Advertising Business Team is perfectly suited to handle these changes. We’re also a team that really supports each other’s needs as we work together on our team projects! I’d like to take this opportunity to say… I love you, Advertising Business Team 🖤
Lee Yuna: The vision of the Advertising Business Team is to provide a "comprehensive advertising consulting service that supports makers throughout their entire project marketing journey." The Advertising Business Team plans and sells advertising products to help makers effectively reach more supporters as they utilize advertising services during their project journey.
Like every team Wadiz, the Advertising Team operates with a clear vision, fostering an environment where every member works toward common goals and supports one another’s needs! Whenever a new idea arises or a challenging task comes up, we pull together, leveraging each person’s strengths and capabilities to find solutions.
Our team has a nickname: “Gwang. To. Wo” 😂 It stands for “Advertising Business Team, Another Workshop,” which shows just how often we hold workshops. Whenever we have a new project we want to try, we organize a workshop where we all put our heads together to brainstorm ideas, develop concrete action plans, and strive to achieve results.
Through this process, we plan and operate beta test products, and based on data analysis, we sometimes launch them as official products. Our greatest strength is our teamwork—we encourage challenges and help each other without hesitation.

Advertising Team
How did you come to join Wadiz?
Seong Eun-sil: Wadizwas a platform my husband used all the time. I’d often look at the Wadiz products he’d backed and think they were fascinating, and then I received an offer. My husband’s strong encouragement was the biggest motivation for me to apply Wadiz.
During my interview, I was introduced to WadizFive Principles, and I have to say, they all resonated deeply with me. After meeting the CEO in the second round of interviews, I was convinced that “this company actually lives by these principles!” Usually, principles are just one-sided mottos for the company, and it’s not easy for employees to truly feel them in practice. Once I joined, I realized thatWadiz = the 5 Principles.” This still amazes me. The effort they put into upholding these principles is truly remarkable.
Lee Yuna: I resigned from my previous company and took a gap year for about a year. During that year, I was busy traveling around every day, meeting people from various industries and gaining a wealth of experience.
After taking a year to reassess my career, I came to the conclusion that I needed to finda place where I could have fun while pioneering new initiatives in a dynamic, growing environment. In that sense, the Wadiz Team was exactly the kind of organization I was looking for! We’ve just launched our advertising service and are riding the wave of dynamic change while having a great time at work. 🙂
What are the most important skills and experience required for this role?
Seong Eun-sil: Above all , I believeI believe that, above all, strong communication skills are essential. The advertising business is closely linked to the finance, platform, and sales teams, so it’s helpful to have a broad understanding of these areas.
Since the advertising market is constantly changing, you’ll need to stay on top of industry trends and network with others in the field. This role is a great fit for someone who embraces new challenges with enthusiasm and takes a proactive approach to both work and relationships!
Think it's hard to build a network in advertising? Don't worry—you'll naturally build a professional network as you go about your work! 😉
Do you have any ongoing projects or any projects that stand out in your memory?
Lee Yuna: What stands out most to me is the recent launchof “BizCenter,” a self-service advertising solution that allows creators to directly register, operate, and manage Meta (Facebook) ads. It was a long-term project that took a full year to develop a new advertising platform through a development partner. Since it was my first time leading such a large-scale project and communicating with teams responsible for service development, planning, and accounting, there were many trial-and-error moments, and we faced various challenges and issues—it was truly a whirlwind of activity. I think this will be a project I’ll remember for the rest of my life.
I’m doing my very best every day to help creators run and manage their ads more easily and conveniently through Biz Center. Our goal is to provide creators with even more effective advertising opportunities through this platform and to continue discovering new and diverse business opportunities forWadiz!

Do you have any personal convictions or principles that you always try to uphold at work?
Seong Eun-sil: In everything I do, I always consider the other person’s “why.” By putting myself in their shoes and thinking about their “why,” I can identify what they need. To do this, I listen to what they say, analyze their behavior, and try to understand their needs. Then, I strive to meet those needs.
Advertising becomes too difficult if you approach it solely with the goal of getting creators to buy ads. Let me give you an example. Think about why a creator might want to buy an ad. Creators want their campaigns to succeed. I believe they’re more likely to buy an ad if you can clearly demonstrate how it contributes to a successful campaign. The person you’re targeting could be a creator, a backer, a teammate, or anyone else.
Lee Yuna: Of Wadizfive principles, the third one—“Fulfilling each other’s needs”—resonates with me the most, and it’s the one I’m most committed to upholding. I always feel that the Advertising Business Team is a group that truly embodies this principle. The “One-team” spirit—where we don’t just focus on our own tasks but actively step in to help whenever someone needs it—is the Advertising Business Team’s greatest pride! My goal is to help maintain this positive team atmosphere. I’m always striving to do my part within the team as well.

Advertising Team
What kind of new colleagues would you like to work with in the future?
If you have any “personal tips for joiningWadiz” to share with those interestedWadiz, please let us know!
Seong Eun-sil: I ’d love to work with someone who can offer ideas from a completely new perspective—one that’s different from my own !
When you’re working, you tend to get stuck within the boundaries of your job and think mainly within those limits. I think it would be a huge boost to have someone who can help break those boundaries. I look forward to hearing from you 🙂
Yoo Na Lee: I’m looking to work with proactive and ambitious colleagues who aren’t afraid to take on new challenges!
Our advertising business is constantly expanding and growing. You may find the pace of work to be somewhat fast and the environment quite dynamic. The more flexible and quick you are in adapting to these changes, and the more proactive you are in embracing challenges, the more enjoyable your work with the team will be!
One of the things that surprised me most when I joined Wadizwas that the team members always think about and keep the “why” in mind when doing their actual work.
If you’re interested in joining Wadiz, I encourage you to take some time to deeply reflect on why we do what we do Wadiz—what the “why” behind our actions is. I’ve noticed that there’s a clear difference in the depth of perspective and attitude toward work between those who have thought about this “why” and those who haven’t.
We’re looking for people to join our Advertising Business Team—a team that grows every single day—and grow alongside our reliable, hard-working colleagues!
