Back in November 2021—which now feels like a year ago—we launched the first recruitment drive for the Wadiz Funding Explorers. We wanted to meet people who would explore Wadiz—a platform brimming with crowdfunding projects designed to make our daily lives more fun and convenient—and help spread the word about the new joys and excitement of crowdfunding. We knew that people who use and love Wadizwould come together, so we also wanted to hear their honest stories. That’s why we decided to select just 10 elite members.

I was really surprised by how many people applied to join the Funding Expedition Team! I can’t tell you how happy and grateful I was to see the passion of our supporters—who are enjoying the funding process more than anyone else—shining through in their applications.
We carefully reviewed every single application, keeping in mind our desire to work with everyone. Rather than simply looking for those with a large following, we sought out people who actively express their personal tastes and who resonate with the value of crowdfunding—people who use it to design a joyful everyday life. That’s how we selected our 10 elite members!

We’ve been even busier since announcing the supporters selected for Wadizfirst Funding Expedition. We’ve been busy preparing gifts for our team members! The goodie bag includes a bucket hat and a pair of socks to add to the excitement of the adventure, a membership card offering discounts valid Wadiz, and 10 coupons to share the fun of crowdfunding with friends and family.

As soon as the Funding Exploration Team officially kicked off its activities, the members wasted no time in seeking out compelling crowdfunding campaigns and sharing them with a wide audience. They enthusiastically supported the makers who launched their campaigns in their own unique styles, using blogs, Instagram feeds, and Stories.
