Wadiz, which launched its global service in May of last year, saw its monthly active users (MAU) more than double year-over-year as of January 2026, with approximately 40% of its total users coming from around 200 countries worldwide, including the United States, Japan, and China.

Building on this, Wadizhas established itself as a platform that enables startups and innovative brands to gauge global consumer demand beyond Korea and secure early-stage customers.

"Wadiz Meetup" is a program through which Wadizregularly meets with startups and brands seeking to enter global markets in major cities around the world as part of its global expansion strategy. The "Wadiz Meetup Tokyo," held on the 7th of this month, was organized to introduce strategies for entering global markets using Wadiz crowdfunding to innovative Japanese brands.

The briefing consisted of ▲ a presentation on Asian crowdfunding trends, ▲ practical strategies for entering the Korean market, and ▲ a Q&A session. In particular, a Wadiz Category Owner took the stage as a speaker to share insights on crowdfunding trends—based on an analysis of tens of thousands of funding projects—and strategies for successfully entering global markets, which was well-received by the attendees.

In addition, Wadizplans to host a meetup in Shenzhen, China, in the first half of this year. Following its efforts in Japan, the company aims to identify promising local companies in China and expand its network to help them expand into Asian and global markets through Wadiz crowdfunding.

A Wadiz representative stated, “Through this briefing, we confirmed that innovative Japanese brands are focusing on the Korean market and Wadizas key channels for their global expansion,” adding, “We will actively seek out competitive innovative products from Asia and expand our role as a bridgehead to help them successfully establish themselves in the global market.”
