Life design crowdfunding platform Wadizannounced on the 1st that it is significantly expanding its category offerings to cater to the diverse preferences of its supporters and broaden the scope of crowdfunding opportunities for creators.

We have further subdivided the subcategories under the existing main categories—such as “Tech, Home Appliances, Fashion, Beauty, Home Living, and Food”—to allow supporters to quickly and easily explore a wide variety of projects that interest them. Makers can now choose from more specialized and niche sectors within these expanded categories to broaden the scope of their projects.  

Alongside its core categories, Wadiz will also prominently feature content sectors such as ▲Art ▲Characters & Merchandise ▲Film & Music ▲Games ▲Photography ▲Comics & Webtoons to expand opportunities for creators to participate in funding campaigns and for supporters to show their support.  Wadizplans to continuously add diverse content, as participation in the Creative (merchandise, classes, etc.) category has been rising annually and supporter engagement and involvement remain high.  

With this overhaul, we plan to expand the range of tangible and intangible projects eligible for crowdfunding and provide more opportunities for makers with innovative ideas across a wide variety of fields. Makers will be able to launch projects in these expanded categories, while supporters can explore projects that align with their interests across diverse themes and fields.

Since the second half of last year, Wadizhas been launching more than 1,800 projects per month, and starting this year, it has been focusing on the quantitative and qualitative growth of its funding projects by hosting customized campaigns offering various benefits at least three times a month.

A Wadiz representative said, “We’ve revamped the platform by expanding our categories to align with market trends and supporter needs, making it easier to browse and take on projects,” adding, “With the addition of more specialized categories in the creative sector, we look forward to seeing a wide range of projects—both large and small—emerge across various fields.”
