An information portal containing 'everything about the funding industry' opens to support makers starting and growing their funding challenges.
Life design funding platform Wadiz(www.wadiz.kr, CEO Shin Hye-seong) announced on the 16th that it has opened the 'Maker Center,' a hub where makers—from solo creators to SMEs and large corporations—can access diverse content in one place, including essential service guides, startup trends, and know-how.
The Maker Center's slogan, 'Where challenges become easier,' embodies Wadizvision of 'creating a world where anyone can challenge themselves' and its ambition to systematically support makers' growth. It focuses on providing timely information needed by makers preparing for funding, pre-orders, or store listings, and supporting them in securing competitiveness. Given Wadiz platform characteristics, which operate with distinct policies and services compared to general commerce or open market distribution channels, the center was established to ensure the rapid and accurate delivery of information, a critical necessity.
The Maker Center operates a △Maker Support Services board that introduces services connecting to △announcements/events and funding, stores, and pre-orders—all timely information makers need, including various exhibition recruitment, partnership benefits, service schedules, and transparency reports. Additionally, it features a Maker Guide containing step-by-step answers to frequently asked questions, usage guides, and useful tips for preparing and running funding campaigns, along with Maker Stories offering insights from Wadiz success cases.
Wadiz, which offers lectures on funding story writing, promotional marketing strategies, and pre-order briefings; Partner Service, which matches creators with verified partners; and Advertising Service, for planning and executing funding campaigns—these features are now accessible via quick menus on the Maker Center main screen, significantly improving information accessibility.
Moving forward, makers will be able to access previously scattered maker-specific information through a unified channel, enabling them to utilize diverse maker services. This facilitates effective service learning through easy and rapid information acquisition and mastery.
Wadiz Maker Experience Team Director Jaeyoung Cha stated, "We designed a maker community where connection and communication come naturally, so that when the word 'challenge' comes to mind, makers can turn to the Maker Center." He added, "We aim to evolve into a funding industry portal that provides all the information needed throughout a brand's lifecycle—from service-related news like funding, stores, and pre-orders to startup trends."
Meanwhile, Wadizhas developed and is selling Wadiz official shipping kit, the 'Better Kit,' alongside the Maker Center opening. It includes packing tape, two types of stickers, and thank-you message cards for packaging products. Designed for supporters who patiently waited for their products, it features the message "Born from your support" to ensure a joyful unboxing experience and brand engagement.
