Wadiz(CEO Shin Hye-seong, www.wadiz.kr) announced that it has opened an office in Shenzhen and appointed a China director to strengthen its ties with the Asian innovation ecosystem. The company plans to expand its local network and actively collaborate with innovative companies seeking to enter the Korean market.
In April of this year, Wadizopened an office in Shenzhen and appointed Martin Ziming Mo as its China Director. As China Director, Martin will be responsible for developing sales strategies, establishing strategic partnerships, and identifying and incubating promising makers, and will lead the company’s overall China operations from its Shenzhen base.
Martin, Head of China, is a cross-border business development expert who previously led global business development and strategic partnerships for WeWork’s Beijing office and has supported projects helping Asian tech brands enter the Korean and global markets. He currently leverages his local network centered in Shenzhen and Hong Kong to identify promising startups in the AI and tech sectors and facilitate their entry into the Korean market.

Based on this local demand, Wadizplans to hold additional platform introduction and funding briefings for Shenzhen-based companies later this year.
Meanwhile, Wadizwill participate as an official global partner in “BEYOND EXPO,” Asia’s largest technology innovation expo, taking place in Macau this month. At the event, Wadiz will operate its own pavilion to expand its network with international makers and major crowdfunding platforms.
