– Projects using WAi see average funding amounts nearly double and average transaction counts increase by about 1.8 times… Strong performance from user acquisition to payment
– More than 30% increase in creators using WAi following a comprehensive overhaul of the creator service… Expanding data-driven funding results
– Performance comparisons, user acquisition channels, promotional strategies, and metric improvements… Key questions about WAi focus on success strategies
Wadiz(CEO Shin Hye-seong, www.wadiz.kr) announced that since it completely revamped its maker service last April, projects utilizing the AI agent “WAi” have recorded average funding amounts approximately twice as high and average transaction counts approximately 1.8 times higher than those of projects that do not use WAi. It also appears that the number of makers using WAi to review their project management strategies has increased since the revamp.
Last April, Wadizenhanced the capabilities of its AI agent “WAi” and revamped its maker services, centering them around “Maker Home,” an integrated project management platform. As a “Success Strategy AI Partner,” WAi analyzes project data to suggest specific, context-appropriate actions—such as encouraging users to sign up for notifications, publishing updates, and communicating with supporters—in order of priority.
Since the redesign, WAi has been used by creators not only to check information but also to help them determine the direction of their projects. A comparison of usage data from approximately two months before and after the redesign showed that the number of creators who actually interacted with WAi increased by about 32%, and the number of responses provided by WAi increased by about 30%.
A clear difference was also evident in project performance. A comparison of 1,817 projects that utilized WAi and 1,419 projects that did not, over the approximately two months following the service overhaul, showed that projects using WAi had an average number of visitors about 2.8 times higher and an average number of notification subscribers about 1.6 times higher than those that did not.
The projects also showed strong performance in metrics leading to actual payments. The average funding amount for projects utilizing WAi was approximately twice that of projects that did not use it, and the average number of payments was approximately 1.8 times higher. Analysis suggests that the way makers use WAi to review data and take necessary actions had a positive impact on funding performance.
It appears that creators are using WAi not merely to look up data, but to develop successful strategies. There were many questions regarding comparisons of funding performance with other projects, analysis of key traffic channels, promotional methods suitable for their projects, and priority actions for improving key metrics.
A Wadiz representative stated, “This data shows that WAi is being utilized not merely as a simple Q&A tool, but as a practical strategic partner that helps makers understand their project’s status and determine their next steps,” adding, “Moving forward, we will continue to enhance our maker services based on our accumulated data and AI technology to minimize makers’ trial and error and ensure that more ideas translate into actual funding success and growth.”
