Wadizis launching a new crowdfunding service designed to help anyone more easily turn their everyday aspirations into reality.
Life design funding platform Wadizannounced on the 21st that it has unveiled a preview of its crowdfunding service “Letz” and is recruiting participants for the pre-launch period, which runs through the 26th.
Lets is a service that connects people who resonate with small challenges born from the thought, “Why not give it a try?” so they can cheer on and support those projects. 100% of the funds raised for a project are delivered to the project leader.
Through the Let's service, you can launch crowdfunding projects in a variety of areas, including personal sponsorship, environmental and animal protection, self-fulfillment, and fan community activities. Examples include "Supporting the sustainability of a shelter for abandoned dogs," "Hosting my first-ever photo exhibition, a long-cherished dream," and "Supporting my favorite artist's new album."
Setting up a project is so simple it takes just three minutes. Simply access the “Let’s” service within Wadiz app and enter some basic project information. Enter a project title and hashtags, set an end date and funding goal, and upload up to 10 relevant images. Projects can run for up to two months, and funding goals can start as low as 10,000 won.
Once a project is launched, you can view the participation status and funding progress of the supporters in real time. We’ve added various engaging features—such as “Challenge Cards” awarded to those who start a challenge and “Support Cards” given to those who cheer them on—to foster a culture of support.
The Let's service, currently available in a preview, is in beta. Users can create projects exclusively through Wadiz iOS app and participate in the pre-launch event until the 26th. The team selected as the Best Project will receive a one-week free exhibition at the Wadiz Underground Gallery in Seongsu-dong, along with challenge grants such as 1 million won for outstanding projects. They will also receive promotional support, including exposure on Wadiz official social media channels and in-app banners.
A Wadiz representative said, “We developed ‘Let’s,’ a crowdfunding service designed to create a world where anyone can take on new challenges and receive support,” adding, “Through Let’s, which makes it easy to pursue your dreams in any field and receive encouragement, we aim to build an ecosystem where taking on challenges and offering support comes naturally.”
Meanwhile, Let's Service plans to launch its official service, including the Android OS version, in April following the beta phase.
