We're the world's No. 3, and nobody knows it

February 17, 2022 | SOCIAL IMPACT, Adding Value

Wadiz Better P.L.U.S.” introduces Wadizkey initiatives and achievements aimed at the sustainable development of startups and small businesses, organized into five categories: △Partner △Local △Unique △Start-up △Social Impact. Through this program, we aim to continuously contribute to the expansion of the startup ecosystem by fostering a business model that promotes mutual growth with small businesses.
We ask for your interest and support for Wadizefforts to create“a world where anyone can take on a challenge.”

Better Together

I believe that a society made up of people who design their daily lives according to their own beliefs and values will ultimately lead us toward a warmer world. Let me introduce some of the social and campaign projects that have caught Wadizeye. If we work together, the world will become just a little bit warmer.

1. Starting Point: This is how the project began.

#Wheelchair Ice Hockey Team

Do you remember the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Paralympics?
On that memorable day, our national para-ice hockey team won the bronze medal they had long dreamed of. The team credits their inspiring victory to the public, who took an interest in this previously overlooked and unpopular sport and cheered them on with such passion.

#Will I still have your support?

The ice hockey team, which received so much love and support, isn’t content to rest on the glory of that day—they’re giving it their all. However, now that the Olympics are over, it seems they’re gradually fading from everyone’s memory. Imagine how much of a boost it would be for the athletes if we could relive the cheers and the excitement of that day at the 2022 Beijing Winter Paralympics. We’ve launched this fundraising campaign with the hope that, by combining the athletes’ hard work and the public’s support, we can create another miracle together this winter.

2. Better Together: Together, we can do this.

#National Team Profile Photo Shoot

You’ve probably seen plenty of profile photos featuring our amazing national team athletes. We’re planning to showcase some stunning photos of our para-ice hockey team as well in the [News] section of Wadiz crowdfunding page. Seven Hundred—the team behind the much-talked-about profile photoshoot for the national team at the Tokyo Olympics—has agreed to donate their talents to this project!

Aren't you curious to see how great my favorite players look?

#Equipment Support for the Team

All funds raised will be used to purchase actual competition gear for our athletes, so they can compete to their full potential without worrying about equipment.
Once the campaign is complete, we plan to disclose the details of the donations via the [News] section on Wadiz platform.

I look forward to seeing our team’s proud performance as they focus solely on the game without worrying, even if their hockey sticks break.

The crowd was chanting, “You’ve got this! You’ve got this!” That’s when I got goosebumps all over. So I didn’t give up, not even in the final second. That echo still resonates in my heart, which is why I haven’t been able to put down my hockey stick to this day.
– Han Min-soo

If you continue to show the same support, I’m confident I can achieve great results, so please keep cheering me on.
– Ryu Ji-hyun

No matter how many times they fall—thousands or even tens of thousands—they always get back up with unyielding determination
