Wadizis strengthening its role as an innovation testbed for European startups, including those from Germany, to enter the Asian market.
Wadiz(CEO Shin Hye-seong,www.wadiz.kr) announced on the 17th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Start2 Group (CEO Claus Karthe), a global innovation startup accelerator, to support global startups' entry into the Korean and Asian markets.
Wadizexpects this agreement to enhance its platform recognition among German and global startups, while also serving as a springboard for entering the Asian market by showcasing innovative European brands and trendy products through Wadiz.
Start2Group is a global accelerator headquartered in Munich, Germany, operating startup international expansion programs across Europe, the Americas, and Asia, and has collaborated with the German government and major institutions.
This agreement aims to leverage the expertise and networks of both companies to help global startups successfully establish themselves in the market, invigorate the crowdfunding ecosystem, and create mutual business opportunities.
Start2Group will co-host briefings Wadiz Wadizto recommend global B2C and D2C startups and encourage their participation in crowdfunding projects. It will also provide insights into the global startup ecosystem and technology trends.
Wadizwill apply a 'fast-track review' for startups recommended by Start2Group, operate a marketing support program worth up to $5,000, and share market insights based on domestic and international startup data.
In particular, in the latter half of this year, the two companies will jointly host a year-end awards program to fully launch the Korean market testing for global startups. This will involve supporting primarily German companies in launching funding projects Wadiz, followed by evaluating their performance and presenting awards. Through this, participating companies can validate the Korean market response and secure an initial customer base and marketing references.
