Wadizannounced on the 5th that Wadizhad participated in “G-FAIR KOREA 2024,” the country’s largest trade fair, and demonstrated its potential for successful expansion into overseas markets.

G-Fair Korea is an event designed to help small and medium-sized enterprises expand their domestic sales channels and enter overseas markets; now in its 27th year, it is the largest export-focused trade show in the country. Organized by the Gyeonggi Economic and Science Promotion Agency, the event was held at KINTEX in Goyang from October 31 to November 2.

Wadizset up aWadiz Pavilion” for three days to showcase a curated selection of products from small and medium-sized businesses and startups that have achieved significant success through crowdfunding. Notable examples include the “Green Charcoal Mask” from the beauty brand “Recipe & Co.,” which has raised a cumulative total of 2.4 billion won, and “Aesabi Crunch” from the convenient health brand “Rootin,” which sparked the “Aesabi craze” with its unique texture.

Wadizacted as an overseas sales team for domestic small and medium-sized enterprises, communicating directly with partners on everything from negotiating terms to managing the export process, and supported the successful expansion of funded companies into international markets.

Through this initiative, overseas buyers have gained a reliable source for products that have been validated by Korean customers through crowdfunding, while domestic small and medium-sized enterprises can now tap into overseas markets simply by having a product.

On November 1, the second day of the event, a briefing session was held on “Korean Product Trends as Revealed by Data Wadiz, Korea’s Largest Crowdfunding Platform.” Overseas buyers from India, Southeast Asia, and Japan attended the event and showed keen interest in Korean products.

Wadiz CEO Shin Hye-sung stated, “Participating in this year’s G-FAIR provided an opportunity to more effectively promote the innovative and competitive products of Korean SMEs to the global market,” adding,Wadizwill continue to support emerging Korean brands in achieving success in overseas markets.”

Meanwhile, Wadizplans to continue expanding its support for domestic SMEs’ overseas market access by establishing a dedicated team to handle international sales. Last September, the company participated in the “Tokyo International Gift Show 2024” held at Tokyo Big Sight, where it showcased popular Wadiz -funded products and held consultations with approximately 40 Japanese buyers.

Wadiz plans to fully launch its export support program, in which Wadiztakes the lead in overseas sales—from booth design to on-site operations—to secure deals, while Wadiz makers simply provide product samples.
