Lately, I’ve been getting these kinds of text messages a lot. It’s frustrating to wonder where my information leaked from, and I’m also worried about how far it might be used. While I can alleviate my worries about burglars at home to some extent by locking my doors and being careful, in the confusing world of mobile technology, being careful on my own isn’t enough. My information lives all over the internet—on platforms, portal sites, and everywhere else.

Wadizhas been certified as compliant with 80 standards for the establishment and operation of an information security management system across Wadizservices, including funding, pre-orders, and the online store.
What is Information Security Management System (ISMS) certification? What are the benefits?
To put it simply, Information Security Management System certification means ‘The government has recognized this company’s information security system!’ The Ministry of Science and ICT and the Personal Information Protection Commission regard this as certification in the country.
If a company has established appropriate processes, manuals, and systems to protect various types of information, including personal data, it can obtain Information Security Management System (ISMS) certification from the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA). Since the certification process involves a thorough review of a total of 80 criteria—including the establishment of information security policies, incident response, and post-incident reviews—this certification serves as a safetyand reliabilityof a security management system.
As of September 2023, a total of 111 companies and organizations in South Korea have obtained ISMS* certification. *ISMS (KISA standard)

Data Protection Around the Clock! Everyday Security Tips
Who is responsible for protecting and securely managing information? The information security team?
Bingo! The correct answer is all employees. This is because the small daily habits of every employee come together to prevent security incidents and create a safe work environment. Wadiz, we have established the ‘10 Daily Security Guidelines’ so that everyone can self-monitor and contribute to security.
Since the guidelines are called “Daily Security Guidelines,” we launched an in-house campaign to help them become a natural part of our daily lives. We posted posters throughout the office so that everyone could follow the security guidelines anywhere and at any time.
We conducted a security drill and performed surprise office inspections after work to ensure that all employees remained vigilant.

In addition, we hold a monthly "Security Day" to share security-related announcements and reading materials. You can quickly check various issues and security update information on the information security announcement channel in our internal messenger. At this point, it feels like we could be chanting “information on the inhale, security on the exhale.” (The importance of information security cannot be emphasized enough!)

Upgrading technology for security management is a must.
Of course We are also continuously upgrading. So far, we’ve implemented cloud security services (SASE), conducted information security risk assessments and vulnerability remediation, and implemented network segmentation for personal data processors. In particular, the introduction of cloud security services has opened up a whole new range of possibilities!
For example, when working remotely in a focused environment where individuals can fully immerse themselves in their work, they can access the company’s network and resources more securely through cloud security services (SASE). ( Wadiz data is kept secure anytime, anywhere)
In addition, to protect various types of information, we utilize cloud-based network segmentation rather than physical or logical segmentation to separate our corporate network from the public internet.
