The Wadiz Project Review Team takes a close look at the funding projects they’ve reviewed.
I need caffeine, but my health is important too
Morning coffee has become a must-have for office workers these days. One cup when I arrive at work, one after lunch, and one after work. There are no exceptions even when working from home. I drink coffee consistently, every day. By drinking at least two cups of coffee a day like this, I recharge with caffeine. Sometimes I drink too much and my stomach feels upset, and I know it’s not good to gulp down coffee on an empty stomach… but that feeling that the day just doesn’t run smoothly without caffeine—I’m sure you all relate, right?
Have you ever thought about drinking coffee in a healthy way?
When you think of coffee, all sorts of thoughts come to mind—like “It tastes good… I need some caffeine… I love cute cafes… a wide variety of beans”—but you probably never imagined the phrase “All in ONE” would be used in the context of coffee.
You may have heard of sugar-free or no-sugar coffee, but “protein, calcium, probiotics, vitamins, and dietary fiber coffee” isn’t easy to find.
Many of you are probably worried because sweet coffee mixes are high in sugar—especially if you’re watching your diet—or because while you need caffeine, you feel you should cut back for the sake of your health. But guess what? I founda healthy and nutritious coffee optionon Wadiz.
With Dangjon Stevia Coffee Mix Calcium Plus, even coffee can be healthy!
Shall we review the submitted documents together to see if it’s possible to make healthy coffee?
1. Coffee made with our proprietary Good Sugar blend—so you don’t have to worry about sugar
They say they’ve switched to a sugar substitute so you can enjoy sweet coffee without worrying about sugar, reducing the sugar content to less than 1g. (Sugar content: 6.24g per 100g; serving size: 10g)
2. From goat milk protein to almond protein
In particular, goat milk is high in calcium, easy to digest, and low in lactose, making it a great choice for people who are sensitive to cow’s milk. (Protein content: 6.07g per 100g; serving size: 10g)
3. Contains calcium and various vitamins
Contrary to popular belief, many nutrients are not produced or synthesized within our bodies, and excessive caffeine intake can stimulate diuresis, potentially causing calcium to be excreted in urine. Therefore, it’s important to maintain a balanced diet that includes foods rich in calcium and vitamins. Dangjon Coffee Mix contains tricalcium phosphate and a vitamin-mineral blend, allowing you to conveniently get these nutrients in just one cup.
4. You can make sure to get plenty of probiotics and dietary fiber.
Dietary fiber is an essential nutrient for modern people, but there are limits to how much can be obtained from vegetables and other sources. According to the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency, the recommended daily intake of vegetables is about 350g, but only 3 to 4 out of 10 people actually consume the recommended amount of vegetables and fruits. However, Dangjon Coffee Mix contains some polydextrose, chicory extract, and resistant maltodextrin. As the product name suggests, it also contains fructooligosaccharides, one of the prebiotic ingredients (food for probiotics).
You might be thinking, "Doesn't this taste bad?" While the ingredients are different from the coffee you're used to, it has the familiar taste of coffee shop coffee. Please set aside any preconceptions that coffee with less sugar must taste bad.
