What if you find a product you like but can't buy it?
One day, Jin-gook came across a product he really liked on social media. He left a comment asking, “Do you know where I can buy this?” but the reply he got was, “This was a crowdfunding project! It’s already ended.”
Joy searched online for keywords related to the product she needed, half-expecting to find nothing. Surprisingly, she found exactly what she was looking for, so she clicked the link right away—only to discover that the crowdfunding campaign had already ended.

Have you ever been in a situation like Jin-gook and Joy’s? If not, just imagine it. You’ve found the one, but you can’t have them. How agonizing that must be. I would have begged the manufacturer to reopen sales. (It’s a little secret that I’ve actually done exactly that.)
Crowdfunding is a method where funds are raised over a set period, and once that period ends, products and services are provided exclusively to those who participated. The nature of crowdfunding is such that once a project has ended, it’s nearly impossible to join, no matter how much money you offer.
The Launch of the Wadiz Store
It’s not just the backers who regret missing the funding train that has already left the station. Even makers who have successfully completed their projects must find new avenues for ongoing sales. Since the customers who first tried my product or service Wadiz, the prospect of finding a new platform and building relationships with consumers from scratch is a major concern.
In fact, many creators have struggled to find new distribution channels after their Wadiz projects. (It’s such a shame to have to start from scratch again, despite all the positive reviews and ratings accumulated inWadiz project community!)
We needed a new service to connect these two groups—supporters and makers. And so, in September 2021, the Wadiz Storewas born.
The Benefits of Purchases Originating from Crowdfunding
Have you ever seen the “Store” section on Wadiz PC Wadiz? On mobile, you can access the Store via the “Buy Now” menu. As the name suggests, the Store is an online shopping service where items are paid for and shipped immediately upon purchase. Unlike crowdfunding and pre-order projects, which have specific start and end dates, the Store is available for purchase at any time—which is a major advantage.

That means you can get your hands on the product whenever you want. Of course, you can also repurchase it. Any items purchased from the store can be exchanged or refunded simply because you’ve changed your mind.
When you enter the Wadiz StoreWadiz Only, Ships Today . These are services exclusive to the store that you won’t find in crowdfunding or pre-order campaigns. Wadiz Only” refers to exclusive products available only at Wadiz.* They offer a sense of rarity since they can’t be found on other e-commerce platforms.
*Excluding the maker’s own online and offline stores
If you click the "Order Now" button, you'll see products available for delivery— Wadizhandles the shipping directly. That means if you order by 2:00 PM, your order will be delivered the same day.
A meeting that leads all the way to the store
Makers and supporters who met through crowdfunding and pre-order projects continue their connection in the store. On the satisfaction page within store projects, you can see whether supporters who left reviews backed the product and how many units they purchased. You’ll often see badges like “Purchased N times” and “I also backed this project.” This signifies that supporters and makers remain consistently connected.
Be sure to check the customer satisfaction page before purchasing a product from the store!
To sell items on Wadiz, you must meet two requirements.
First, both the project creator’s rating and the reward satisfaction rating must be 3.5 or higher.
Second, there must be at least 100 backers who have funded a previous project, or the total amount funded must be at least 10 million won.
The products and brands currently available in the store have passed both of these screening processes verified. A satisfaction rating of 3.5 or higher means the product was a hit Wadiz, so you can trust the Wadiz Store, right?
In particular, you can easily see how many people have purchased a product or participated in a crowdfunding project. Thanks to this, you can identify which products are worth buying and feel confident opening your wallet.
If a product is loved by many supporters, you can buy it with confidence.
So that more makers and supporters can connect
As of the first half of 2023, the Wadiz Store has surpassed 2,600 cumulative listed projects. Transaction volume in the second half of 2022 increased by approximately 20% compared to the first half of the year.
Today, makers and supporters are meeting again in the store and connecting over their products. In the future, even more makers and supporters will come together in the store. We’ll be working hard to make that happen!
