Wadizannounced on the 17th that Wadizparticipated as a representative Korean speaker at the HKTDC Hong Kong Electronics Fair 2025, held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from October 13 to 16, sharing its strategy for "market validation through Korea and expansion into the Asian market."

The 45th edition of this year's event, themed "World's Leading Electronics Marketplace," brought together products and solutions in future-demand sectors such as AI & Robotics, Silver Economy, and Digital Entertainment.

According to the organizers, this year will see over 3,000 exhibitors from 20 countries and 120 buyer teams composed of overseas distributors and retailers visiting the venue, with large-scale consultations, orders, and partnership discussions expected to take place.

This session also featured presentations by representatives from major global platforms including JD.com, Pepita Group, and Lazada, who discussed Asian e-commerce trends and cross-border strategies.

Team Leader Jang Han-eul explained, "The core of current demand lies in Asia," adding, "We can first validate funding data in Korea, then leverage AI translation, global payment systems, and overseas shipping infrastructure to reduce risk and expand into Asia." He further emphasized, "As a crowdfunding-based launchpad,Wadizis helping makers meet global customers faster and more accurately."

Meanwhile, Wadizofficially launched its global service last May, introducing 'K-funding' to customers in 200 countries worldwide. It is lowering barriers to overseas expansion through AI-based translation, overseas shipping partner matching, and global targeted advertising support. To date, approximately 370 global projects have been conducted. Cumulatively, over 14,000 overseas members have signed up from 115 countries.

By late September, the platform was updated to support overseas makers in directly opening and operating their stores. Now, detailed pages can be created directly in Korean, English, and Japanese, and transaction currencies and operating hours are set based on the maker's country. This enables more overseas brands to easily enter the market through Wadiz.
