In Part 1 of "When WadizMeets AI," we introduced "WAi," a tool that provides real-time support throughout the entire funding process. * Watch Part 1: WhenWadizMeets AI, Ep. 01

In this episode, we’ll discuss how AI is actually making fundraising easier, focusing on AI-powered project reviews that reduce wait times for creators and AI-powered language translation features that break down language barriers to connect creators with global supporters.

Less waiting, more trust. AI Review

Last November, Wadizintroduced an "AI Review" feature that automatically reviews project stories and provides feedback.

The AI review feature is available directly from the story creation screen in Maker Studio, and you can request a review up to five times per project.

AI analyzes the project narrative to detect expressions that do not comply with advertising review standards in real time and immediately flags areas requiring revision, allowing for immediate corrections without waiting for a review. This enables the review process to be completed more quickly than with traditional methods.

The process, whichpreviously took an average of four days or more when reviewed by humans, has been reduced to less than one day, and adoption rates are high, with 8 out of 10 creators now using AI reviews.

This feature not only speeds up the approval process but also enhances the fairness and consistency of the review process.

Kim Yu-jin, a project manager on the Trust and Safety Team responsible for AI review, said,

“The purpose of AI review isn’t simply to speed up the process, but to reduce review wait times for creators. Since the AI conducts an initial review based on fair criteria, reviewers can focus more on verifying the results and making necessary adjustments.”

Currently, AI moderation maintains an accuracy rate of approximately 85%, and we are actively working to refine the system to reduce unnecessary penalties.

“In the early stages, AI was unable to understand sentences in context, leading to instances of over-moderation where it misidentified words or sentences that were actually harmless.

“We are currently working to continuously improve these processes and are advancing our technology to ensure that creators can undergo reviews more quickly and fairly. The key is to focus on enhancing the user experience for creators.”

Kim Yoo-jin stated that she plans to develop AI screening into a mandatory process that all projects automatically undergo, thereby creating an environment where anyone can launch a funding campaign fairly and transparently.

From text to images: Easily launch a global crowdfunding campaign with AI translation

Wadizofficially launched its global service last September, enabling Korean makers to connect with supporters worldwide without having to go through a separate translation process.

The AI translation feature plays a key role in this process.

The key feature of AI translation is that it automatically translatesnot only the project title and body text, but also the text included in the story’s main image and detailed images.

In other words, the AI recognizes the text and translates it into the target language without the creator having to edit or redesign the image!

We currently support automatic translation in three languages—English, Japanese, and Chinese—so you can launch a global crowdfunding campaign.

AI refines sentences using natural language based on the original Korean text and adjusts the wording to fit the context, ensuring the content is presented in a format that is easy for global supporters to read.

Let me explain using the following funding project as an example.

Funding details page created by the maker (Korean) [Link]

The funding page (in Chinese) has been automatically translated by the AI translation feature, and even the text within the images has been automatically translated.

Since even the text within story images is automatically translated, creators can now produce content much more efficiently.

As a result, we’ve significantly reduced the time and cost required for translation while maintaining consistent quality. We’ve also been able to greatly shorten the time it takes to launch globally.

More sophisticated, more extensive—what’s next for AI translation?

Wadizis currently working to further enhance the quality of its image translation by advancing its technology in line with improvements in AI translation performance.

Our goal is to produce translations that are visually polished, taking into account not only the natural flow of the text but also the font, layout, and readability.

We also plan to significantly expand our support to include not only still images but also GIFs and text within videos.

We are working to ensure that global creators and supporters can communicate seamlessly on a single screen, without language barriers, rather than having to rely on separately translated pages.

WAi: Evolving into a partner that analyzes data and proposes insights

The "Data Agent" feature launching this year—let me chat with WAi to get an at-a-glance view of my funding status and traffic sources.

WAi is set to evolve beyond simply answering questions or providing translation assistance; it will expand its capabilities to become a partner that analyzes creators’ data and suggests story ideas.

"Data Agent," set to launch this year, is a feature that provides real-time results and analytical insights when you ask WAi directly for data. It is designed to let you grasp funding status and traffic sources at a glance through conversation alone, without having to look at complex dashboards.

In addition, we are currently developing a feature called “Story Agent” that automatically generates a draft of a funding story based on the creator’s ideas and product information.

We plan to simplify the process of writing your funding story by suggesting sentences and section structures that highlight your product’s features and value and resonate with your target audience.

Making makers' challenges easier— WadizAI continues to play a vital role!

Wadizis advancing its AI not simply to innovate the technology itself, but to create an environment where makers seeking funding can try new ideas more easily and quickly.

Let AI handle the complex processes so that creators can focus on their work and growth! That is Wadizfundamental approach to AI.

Whenever a maker’s journey gets a little easier, WadizAI will always be right there by their side 🙂
