In this chapter, we introduce a project.

Talent Sharing Project

“Funding goal reached! I’m the Content Director Wadiz, and I’d like to share some feedback.”

This is a crowdfunding project made possible Wadiz. Why? Because it’s a special project created by Wadiz Content Director Choi Hong-hee—who regularly gives lectures at major corporations and tours various lecture platforms (her lectures are so captivating they could easily be called performances)—specifically for this crowdfunding campaign! She’s offering the know-how she’s accumulated over four years as a workaholic at a price you won’t find anywhere else.

This isn’t just “sharing” talent—it’s a full-fledged “donation.” This project wasn’t launched to make money, but to serve as a reliable support system for business owners and creators who struggle with creating product detail pages. Thanks to the director who creates the best product detail pages in Korea, and the many business owners who are desperate and passionate about their ventures, every project has been fully funded (reaching the funding goal for all limited quantities!) 🎉

“Drawing on my road trip experience, I’ll help you find your perfect beach.”

Project creator Jeong Hwan-hee is a true ocean enthusiast. Driven by her love for the sea, she ran 2,985 km across Australia and New Zealand. Drawing on that experience, this project is designed for people who love the ocean but find it difficult to visit many different places due to their busy schedules. Jeong plans to personally visit 358 beaches to document their unique characteristics, including their pros and cons and who she recommends them for. She will then compile this information into an e-book to share her knowledge and passion for the ocean with supporters. Instead of the well-known beaches like Haeundae and Gwangalli, she’ll introduce you to hidden gems that don’t even show up in search results—your very own secret beaches. Supporting Jeong Hwan-hee’s crowdfunding campaign is your golden opportunity to discover these hidden gems!

“Here’s a list of favorite restaurants for office workers in Pangyo (for team dinner organizers)!”

Kim Meok-jang, the team’s “dark side” party planner, runs a shop in Pangyo called Oh Tae-soo (Sells Only One Menu Item). On my way to work, I always end up going to the same places no matter how hard I rack my brain wondering, “What should I eat today?” So this project is exactly what I need. As a food blogger with 100,000 followers, she has a solid list of restaurants for every occasion. Thank you for sharing this incredibly valuable list—compiled through your own hard work and legwork—with your fellow Pangyo office workers!

Neighborhood Assistance Project

“We’re launching a project to hold a nationwide dog audition!”

Jeju Island is home to idol trainees who are the very definition of cuteness—they’re sure to melt anyone’s heart. And the reason we can confidently call them cute is that they’re actually “dog” trainees.

Dog Adoption Project

Source: Unprecedented Crowdfunding | Please Help These Dog Trainees Make Their Debut!

He was scouted on the streets of Jeju and has undergone meticulous training at Ggul Entertainment. He’s now fully prepared to make his debut as the perfect companion dog. Ggul Entertainment, which has successfully launched 15 out of 18 dogs, is preparing a new project. They’re expanding from the island to the mainland with a nationwide companion dog audition project! To support this, the Wadiz Performance Marketing Team has launched a crowdfunding campaign.

The Performance Marketing Team will donate all the funds raised to Gule Enter, excluding the costs required to prepare the rewards. Thanks to this, Gule Enter will be holding a nationwide dog audition Wadizthe Wadizspace in Seongsu on November 19–20. With three trainees from Jeju waiting to debut and rescue dogs from all over the country gathering there, you won’t want to miss this event, right? And of course, I couldn’t resist the crowdfunding campaign either! (I backed the rice cake memo pad set that comes with a grip case and a doggy scent. 🐶)

“Let’s make the 53rd ROTC Class Association—the only one yet to be established—a nationwide organization!”

In 2018, a few classmates came together for the 53rd ROTC class—the only class across all ROTC cohorts that didn’t have an alumni association. After work, they gathered in small groups and, through their hard work, established the ROTC Class 53 Alumni Association. In the startup world, they say that companies go through the “Valley of Death” in their early stages. This refers to a state where the company’s very survival is at stake, and the ROTC Class 53 Alumni Association, now four years after its founding, is also navigating that phase. To successfully overcome this “Death Valley,” the president of the ROTC Class 53 Alumni Association stepped up. Specifically, the Head of the Wadiz Team launched a crowdfunding campaign. (The Head of theWadiz Ecosystem Investment Team = President of the ROTC Class 53 Alumni Association!)

Pro is seeking supporters through crowdfunding to help revitalize the 53rd Class Alumni Association and grow it together. We hope that the association will thrive through the "power of connection." I’ll be cheering you on so that the association can expand nationwide!

“We’ve prepared flowers for every mom who needs a little encouragement.”

This project began one day when a mother, while struggling with her child, received a bouquet from a friend. We want to share that memory—of feeling grateful and happy all day long—with mothers around the world through this crowdfunding campaign to give the gift of flowers. As a maker, Jang Min-young drew on her own experience as a mother to craft a story about what mothers truly need. She emphasizes that we need a great deal of understanding and support from both our families and society. The reason we feel warmth from an elderly man who gives up his seat on the subway or a friend who gives us a bouquet of flowers is that these acts are expressions of support for “mothers.”

Now, Jang Min-young is stepping in as a grandfather and a friend to send bouquets of flowers to 25 moms as a token of support. We’ve raised the funds to send the flowers. Next, we need stories from the moms who will receive this support. In theIn the community, you can find stories from all kinds of moms. It warms my heart to see so many people both receiving and giving encouragement. It’s only natural to feel a tingle of excitement and a twitch in your fingers, making you want to join in and cheer them on too!

In addition to the projects we’ve introduced, a variety of compelling crowdfunding campaigns by Wadiz are now live. That’s because crowdfunding can serve as a strong lifeline—whether you’re pursuing your dreams, helping a neighbor in need, or creating memories with a loved one. Anyone can launch a project as long as they have a valid reason to seek support—whether it’s for self-realization or creating social value. You don’t need a business registration number, and you don’t even need to create a new product. We hope the stories of our employees taking the lead to “become makers” have given you the courage to take on a challenge!

Next, let’s hear about their project progress from Pro, the recipient of the prestigious Outstanding Funding Award for receiving the most support, and Pro, the recipient of the Special Award for Most Signatures.
See you soon!
