Wadiz(CEO Shin Hye-seong, www.wadiz.kr) is launching an open recruitment drive for local representatives to operate in regions across the country. The initiative aims to expand the startup ecosystem, which has traditionally been centered in the Seoul metropolitan area, to local communities and secure talent to help foster the success of promising local makers.

Wadiz Local Players utilize local networks to identify promising makers, lead collaborative efforts to launch funding projects, and serve as a bridge Wadizmakers. Activities are centered around the applicant’s place of residence or local community, and participation is open to individuals across the country, including major cities such as Daejeon, Busan, Ulsan, Daegu, and Gwangju, as well as the Chungcheong, Honam, Yeongnam, Gangwon, and Jeju regions.

This position is designed as a side gig that can be pursued alongside your current job. Anyone is welcome to apply, including sole proprietors, those considering a second career, and individuals with experience in community-based activities. As this is a remote role, you can work from anywhere in the country without being constrained by time or location.

Once you join as a local partner, Wadiz provides a systematic training program covering everything from an understanding of the platform and funding to the know-how of launching projects. Through this, you can grow beyond mere participation to become a key player driving startup growth.

Applications will be accepted until May 15, and candidates can apply via the simplified application process on Wadiz recruitment Wadiz. Candidates who pass the initial screening will proceed to the interview stage, and the first interview can be conducted either by phone or video call.

Meanwhile, Wadizwill host an online briefing session for local players on Wednesday, April 29, at 4:00 p.m. for approximately one hour. The session will include an introduction Wadiz, an overview of available positions, and a Q&A session. You can register on the same page.

A Wadiz representative stated, “Under the motto ‘Everyone’s Start, Everyone’s Funding,’ which allows anyone with an idea to launch a crowdfunding campaign, we aim to discover promising makers across the country and connect them with market innovation.” They added, “We hope that local players, who know the regional landscape best, will serve as our practical partners on this journey.”
