Wadizis a wholly owned subsidiary Wadizestablished to support the sustainable growth of early-stage companies that have proven their potential through crowdfunding. It offers services to help promising makers scale their brands, including annual funding planning and the execution of marketing strategies. The service fee covers the platform listing fee as well as costs for comprehensive marketing activities, including product page design, internal and external advertising Wadiz, and special promotional campaigns.

The CEO position has been filled by In-beom Hwang, Wadizformer CBO. As a founding member Wadiz, Hwang established and grew the funding sales organization and successfully launched new ventures such as Wadiz Space and Wadiz Store.

The parent company, Wadiz Co., Ltd., was founded in 2012 and has spent the past 10 years leading Wadiz, Korea’s largest crowdfunding platform, while building a robust funding ecosystem. To date, over 54,000 projects have been launched, with an average of more than 1,000 new projects running each month. The number of makers who have conducted at least one funding campaign stands at approximately 25,000 teams. Wadizdecided to invest in a new subsidiary to support small and medium-sized brands—which, despite their potential, often struggle to grow due to a lack of internal resources or marketing expertise—and to grow alongside them.

While Wadizhas previously focused on helping startups and SMEs in need of funding to launch their businesses and enter the funding ecosystem, Wadizaims to become an “incubation partner” that supports scale-up for sustainable growth and fully implements a model of mutual growth Wadiz.

To this end, the company will collaborate with its parent company, Wadiz, which operates a crowdfunding platform, and its venture capital (VC) subsidiary, Wadiz. The plan is to provide brand incubation services to early-stage startups with a track record of successful crowdfunding campaigns—specifically those in which Wadizhas already invested or those seeking investment.

Hwang In-beom, CEO Wadiz, stated, “We have supported and watched small brands that started their businesses through crowdfunding grow over time,” adding, “Based on our past successes and expertise, we will actively seek out brands with which we can create strategic synergies and become a scaling-up partner for makers.”
