“People say this is their first impressionWadiz.”
[Jinguk of the Month]Wadizis home to exceptional talent that embodies authenticity—the “Jingukis.” “Jingukis” is a character that symbolizes Wadiz ideal of talent and camaraderie. Here, we introduce Wadizculture of praise, where colleagues work together to support one another’s needs.
Wadizis Wadiz 5 Principles , specifically the third principle, “We meet each other’s needs,” as its foundation. Through a method called the “Praise Relay”—where we meet colleagues’ needs, encourage those who have made a positive impression, and pass on praise—we present these stories at the monthly Impact Forum.
The June Praise Relay featured a colleague who perfectly embodies the saying, “The light is brightest under the lamp.”
The star turned out to be Yang Ha-rin, a professional from the HR Planning Team— Wadizofficial announcer and the MC of the Impact Forum, a figure so well-known that noWadizcould possibly be unaware of her.
Since the HR Planning Team is a support function, they likely receive inquiries and communicate with various teams. “I don’t think anyone in Sampyeong-dong (whereWadiz is headquartered) has ever seen this manager get angry,” “Even when busy or faced with repetitive questions, they always respond kindly,” “You can feel their sincerity when dealing with work or people”— —these are just some of the glowing testimonials pouring in from colleagues! We met with the June “Jin-guk” award winner.
Hello, Yang Harin, Please give us a brief introduction and share your thoughts on being selected as June’s “Jinguk”😊
Yang Harin: Hello! I’m Yang Harin from the HR Planning Team, where I handle HR planning and organizational culture. It’s great to meet you! 😀
How would you describe what I do in a single sentence?
Yang Ha-rin: I see myself as “someone who cultivates an environment where our employees can work more happily.” To achieve this, I establish institutional frameworks for work, evaluations, and employee benefits, and I also foster a more enjoyable atmosphere and culture through various events and activities. Ultimately, all of this comes down to creating an environment where our employees can “do their jobs well.” If I were to share a personal wish, I hope that our Jinguk employees can work not just “well,” but “happily.”
I don't think there's a single person Wadizwho doesn't know Harin Pro. I believe she's the one Wadiz"first impression" on new hires.
Please introduce the two programs you’ll be hosting: the New Hires Meeting (Day 01) and the Impact Forum!
Yang Ha-rin: For new hires New Hire Day 1 training is held once every two weeks. For those who have just joined Wadiz, we introduce Wadizbusiness, MVP (Mission, Vision, Principles), and how “Jinguk” works. We also arrange a session where new hires meet Wadizfounder, CEO Shin Hye-seong, and Executive Vice President Choi Dong-cheol to learn more about Wadiz. Our role is to help you take your first steps as Wadiz “Jinguk.”
The Impact Forum is a monthly gathering where all Wadizcome together to discuss Wadizdirection. We share Wadiz news from the previous month, team Key Results (KR) updates, and performance metrics, and teams that have made a significant “impact” give presentations. Wadizis an organization that is constantly evolving. Our team grows every month, and our business continues to expand. That’s why it’s essential to have a time to ensure company-wide alignment, and the Impact Forum serves that purpose. Our employees also provide a lot of positive feedback about receiving updates on the company’s direction every month.

We asked Pro Jo Young-jun, who selected Pro Yang Ha-rin as the “Star of June” 😎
What was your reason for selecting her, and if you had to describe her in one word, what comes to mind?
Jo Young-jun: I’m sure you’ve seen it at least once—do you remember the cartoon called “Teletubbies”? The character Sunny from the show suddenly comes to mind. Sunny is always bright, gentle, and kind, radiating positive energy! It’s the main contributor toWadizwholesome and cheerful atmosphere 😊

How did your colleagues react when you were selected?
Yang Harin: First of all, my team congratulated me so much and were genuinely happy for me as if it were their own achievement! Everyone on the People Team, including the Communications Planning Team, works incredibly hard. I think I was selected because I handle a lot of tasks that are visible to the Jinguk members, such as the Impact Forum.
I’m truly grateful that everyone I’ve met since the Impact Forum has encouraged me by calling me “Jin-gook of the Month,” and at the same time, it’s given me a chance to reflect on whether I’ve been a colleague who effectively meets the needs of my team members.

Are there any moments when you feel "challenged" while working? I'm curious to know how you, who's always smiling, overcome those challenges.
Yang Ha-rin: To be honest, I don’t think there have been many moments while working Wadizwhen I’ve felt it was “difficult.” However, since I’m part of the HR Planning Team, we send out a lot of announcements and communicate with various project managers, so I find myself constantly thinking about “how can I communicate effectively?” Since the work we prepare in the HR Planning Team is the result of extensive deliberation and discussion, I particularly focus on how to effectively convey the “why” behind our decisions—the reasons and context.
I think Wadizis a great place to work as someone responsible for HR and organizational culture. It seems like the Wadiz team truly appreciates the effort and sincerity that goes into everything we do. That’s why, no matter what event I organize, they always enjoy it more than I ever imagined and really pick up on the message I’m trying to convey.
First of all, people would often say kind things like, “You’re working so hard,” or “Thank you.” As these moments accumulated, I feel like there were more rewarding moments than difficult ones.
What is your "Better Message"?
Yang Ha-rin: My Better Message is #today. I chose “today” to reflect both my personal resolution before joining the company—“Let’s live each day to the fullest”—and my hope to “help make today better for everyone atWadiz.”
Finally, if you’re selected for the Praise Relay, you’ll receive points. Please introduce Harin Pro’s “One Pick” funding project. Store products are also welcome.
Yang Ha-rin: I’d like to introduce Bella C&C’s “Vegan Water Sun Essence” project. I bought it at the store, tried it out, and loved it so much that I even participated in the crowdfunding campaign for the large-size version! With the sun getting stronger these days, sunscreen is a must, and this one isn’t sticky and is easy to apply. If you haven’t found your go-to sunscreen yet, I highly recommend it.
