WADIZ ANNOUNCED TODAY THAT IT HAS PARTICIPATED IN G-FAIR KOREA 2024, THE LARGEST TRADE FAIR IN SOUTH KOREA, TO SHOWCASE ITS POTENTIAL FOR OVERSEAS EXPANSION.

G-Fair Korea, an event that helps small and medium-sized enterprises expand their sales in Korea and enter overseas markets, is the largest specialized export exhibition in Korea, now in its 27th year. Organized by the Gyeonggi-do Economic Science Promotion Agency, it was held from October 31 to November 2 at KINTEX in Goyang.

Wadiz set up the 'Wadiz Global Pavilion' for three days to curate and introduce products of small and medium-sized brands that have achieved great results through crowdfunding. Representative products include 'Noctane Pack' by beauty brand 'Recipe & Co', which has accumulated 2.4 billion won in funding, and 'Asabi Crunch' by convenience health brand 'Rootin', which has driven the 'Apple Cider Vinegar craze' trend with its unique formulation.

Wadiz served as an overseas sales team for Korean SMEs, directly engaging in all aspects from negotiating trade agreements to managing export processes to assist successfully funded companies in expanding into international markets.

This allows overseas buyers to secure a reliable sourcing channel, offering a list of products validated by Korean consumers through crowdfunding, while enabling domestic SMEs to access international markets with their products.

On November 1st, the second day of the event, a briefing session was held on 'Korean Product Trends as Seen Through Data from Wadiz, Korea's Largest Crowdfunding Platform.' Overseas buyers from India, Southeast Asia, and Japan attended the event and showed great interest in Korean products.

"PARTICIPATING IN G-FAIR WAS AN OPPORTUNITY TO BETTER SHOWCASE THE INNOVATIVE AND COMPETITIVE PRODUCTS OF KOREAN SMES TO INTERNATIONAL MARKETS.," SAID SHIN HYE-SUNG, CEO OF WADIZ. "WADIZ WILL CONTINUE TO HELP KOREAN START-UP BRANDS SUCCEED IN OVERSEAS MARKETS."

Meanwhile, Wadiz plans to continue to expand its support for domestic SMEs to sell overseas by establishing a dedicated team in charge of overseas sales. In September, Wadiz participated in the Tokyo International Gift Show 2024 held at Tokyo Big Sight, exhibiting popular Wadiz products and consulting with about 40 Japanese buyers.

Wadiz will intensify its export business, serving as an overseas sales facilitator where makers are required only to provide product samples, and Wadiz will oversee all logistical and operational aspects of international sales, from booth setup to successful deal closures.
