Now in its fifth year, Beyond Expo is Asia’s largest technology and innovation expo, having launched in 2021. It is held annually at the Venetian Macao Cotai Expo in Macau. This year, the event attracted over 30,000 representatives from global innovation companies and featured more than 300 speakers.

The theme of the 2025 event is “Unveiling Possibilities,” conveying a message that we should turn uncertainty into opportunity and explore infinite possibilities.

In particular, this year saw the launch of a new program (BEYOND BGlobal Network) designed to help Asian companies expand into overseas markets, providing an opportunity to connect with global partners and develop strategies.

Shin Hye-sung, CEO Wadiz, participated as a representative panelist from South Korea in a session titled “The Role of Crowdfunding in the Global Expansion of Asian Companies” at the “BGlobal Summit” held on May 22. The session featured CEOs from major Asian crowdfunding platforms, who shared their experiences and insights.

The event featured the following speakers: ▲Cheryl Tang, Head of Indiegogo Asia-Pacific; ▲Ryotaro Nakayama, CEO of Makuake Japan; and ▲Ryo Umezawa, co-founder of Vector.

The speakers introduced strategies for entering global markets through crowdfunding and shared success stories, emphasizing the potential of crowdfunding to help Asian companies secure early customers and boost brand awareness. CEO Shin’s participation drew attention as an example of Korean companies’ interest in and commitment to global expansion.

On the 23rd, CEO Shin Hye-sung delivered a solo presentation titled “Beyond Korea: Crowdfunding Without Borders.”

In his presentation, CEO Shin emphasized, “AI-based funding services will accelerate the expansion of not only K-brands but also global brands into overseas markets,” adding, “Asia is already producing the world’s most innovative products and content, and Wadizwill serve as a bridge connecting this creativity and passion to the rest of the world.”

Meanwhile, Wadizofficially launched its "Wadiz " service in May, introducing "K-Funding" to customers in 200 countries worldwide.

This service supports domestic manufacturers in securing their first overseas customers and entering the global market with confidence. Through features such as AI-powered translation, matching with international shipping partners, and support for targeted global advertising, it helps domestic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that find expanding overseas daunting to open up new sales channels.
