I know all too well how important sunscreen is, but in the summer, I’m always worried about how heavy my skin looks and how tedious the routine is—what with applying sunscreen, primer, and foundation. Apparently, you can skip all that hassle and that heavy feeling with just one sunscreen. How? With a 3-in-1 primer sunscreen. Will I finally be able to go foundation-free this summer?

It’s Primer Sun. Let me introduce Primer Sun, the product that finally settled me after 2n years of searching for the perfect sunscreen. With its simple design and compact size, Primer Sun is perfect for carrying around.
When you compare it to AirPods, you can really tell how tiny it is, right? It’s the perfect size to fit comfortably in one hand.
Shake the bottle up and down 3 to 5 times before use. The bottle contains a built-in mixing ball to help shake the contents, which is why you’ll hear a rattling sound.
The texture is light and smooth, like a lotion. That made it easy to apply. It’s a lightweight serum-type formula, so you only need a small amount for sun protection—just a tiny bit is enough.
When you first apply it, you'll notice a subtle sheen. Once it's quickly absorbed, it transforms into a soft, natural glow.
I tried applying the Primer Sun to my face. It didn’t look cakey or leave a white cast; instead, it naturally covered my pores and brightened my complexion. I recommend using just the Primer Sun on days when you’re outdoors and need to reapply sunscreen frequently, or on days when you want a natural look without feeling heavy.
After using Primer Sun to provide UV protection and cover my pores, I tried applying foundation on top. Usually, when you apply foundation over sunscreen, the foundation tends to cake or the skin doesn’t look as smooth. However, since Primer Sun acts as a primer, it covered my pores while giving my skin a natural glow, resulting in a much more beautiful finish.
A missed first meeting—I’ve been waiting for it to reopen
To be honest, I didn’t get to try Primer Line until after the project had ended, which was a real shame. But now that they’ve launched a comeback project, I finally get to give it a try. (A dream come true! ✨)
