This initiative reporting system was launched in 2018 to protect supporters’ rights. Is this for real? Yes, we discussed all of this with Yulmu, a risk management planner. Let’s get to it!

Hello, Yulmu. Please introduce yourself!
🧐 Yulmu Hello, I’m Yulmu from the Trust and Safety Team, where I handle risk management and operations. I plan risk management processes and implement them in practice. I’m always thinking about how we can manage risks more efficiently. As part of our risk prevention efforts, ‘Transparency Report’.

What is a transparency report?
🧐 Yulmu This is a report. It is structured around project report submission data. In addition to report submission data, it transparently includes data on various monitoring activities conducted by the Trust and Safety Team.
Oh, so that’s why it’s called the “Transparency” report?
🧐 Yulmu A “Transparency Report” is typically a report that companies voluntarily publish in response to various requests from users, such as specific corporations, governments, or individuals. I didn’t come up with the name myself. (Laughs)
Oh, so that's what it was! But since you mentioned a report, I’m guessing the content will be a bit dry…
🧐 Yulmu There is no set format for transparency reports. This means you can structure and publish them freely to suit the nature of your service. While Wadiz transparency report covers serious topics, we’ve presented them using diverse visuals and simple explanations so that anyone can easily understand them. You’ll likely find it feels a bit different from other companies’ transparency reports.

🧐 Yulmu We hope our supporters trust and use theWadiz platform. I think that’s what everyone Wadizhopes for.
To achieve that, I believe it’s important to transparently disclose any issues with projects and how they’re being handled. That’s why I’m consistently posting updates.
That's right; transparency seems to lead directly to trust. What specific information is included in the transparency report?
🧐 Yulmu You can view monthly trends in the number of reports received, the types of reports received this month, and the month-over-month changes by report type. In addition, statistics are provided by report project category. You can also check the processing status of reports received each month.

So this is a report for our supporters, then?
🧐 Yulmu That’s right. By publishing our transparency report, we want to let our supporters know that Wadizoperates its services in an honest and trustworthy manner!
I'm also curious about who prepares the transparency report.
🧐 Yulmu Although the Trust and Safety Team is in charge of production, I believe we can only create this thanks to the valuable feedback from our supporters. Your interest in Wadizand your reports are the driving force behind creating a better platform environment.

I'm also curious about the process of making it.
🧐 Yulmu First, I analyze the monthly report data submitted by our supporters. This involves identifying which categories and types of issues are occurring most frequently. Next, I use that data to create visualizations. A list of raw numbers alone can be hard to digest and boring to look at. So, I turn the data into graphs and images to make it easier to understand at a glance. Once everything is finished, I post it on the site so that many people can see it.
Wow~ So, does that mean all the reports are compiled and turned into data?
🧐 Yulmu Yes, we carefully manage all reports through the "Issue Management Admin" system as soon as they are received. We double-checked through regular data analysis, and we manage them meticulouslyto ensure no cases are missed or delayed.
Once a report is filed, what happens next?
🧐 Yulmu Once a representative reviews the report, action will be taken within 3 business days. If risks are repeatedly identified in a specific category, we may develop measures to prevent recurrence and establish related policies. While follow-up actions are certainly important, we are also continuously improving our systems to prevent future occurrences. As such, the Trust & Safety Team works day and night—separate from our reporting policies—to resolve urgent issues as quickly as possible!

When did you start publishing the transparency report?
🧐 Yulmu We’ve been publishing the Transparency Report since August 2020. I’ve been in charge of it for about a year and a half.
What is the publication frequency?
🧐 Yulmu We publish this monthly. You can view the transparency report.

This transparency report is the result of a lot of hard work! I think a lot of people would find this useful. Where can I find it?
🧐 Yulmu The Transparency Report is currently posted in two places. First, you can find it at Wadiz Maker Center > Announcements/Events > Trust Center. It’s also posted on the Wadiz ‘Friends’ feed.

🧐 Yulmu The Trust & Safety Team is constantly working to provide members with a safe platform environment. We conduct monitoring activities and take appropriate actions across various areas, including managing reported cases, monitoring simultaneous sales, monitoring false information, monitoring social media, and monitoring fraudulent transactions. Just as the Trust & Safety Team works hard to create a safe platform environment, we want to be the first team that comes to mind when you think of Wadiz.
