Q. As a PD, I imagine you’re familiar with a wide variety of new brands. Please share how you all go about discovering new brands!
🎈 Free Spirit I spend a lot of time out and about. I love local projects and introduce them frequently. When I talk with makers, I notice a difference between what I see in person and what I learn through social media.
I also enjoy watching all kinds of live streams. Makers who take on Wadizoften try their hand at shopping live streams. When I actually watch these streams, I find many makers and rewards that are a perfect fit Wadiz. I also watch them to scout out potential partners.
🕊 Godori When I first joined the company, I mainly worked on projects with creators. Most of them were people who commercialized their skills, talents, or know-how rather than tangible products. So I watched a lot of YouTube.
These days, I’ve continued this habit of digging deeper, so I subscribe to and frequently watch YouTube channels that review products. I tend to explore things like, “Oh, there’s a product like this, or a brand like that.”
